Hi Steve
I am glad you like the scans. I won't be going to Cadogan Hall but I am sure I will see you at another Hayley concert. I hope to go to Grassington in June if I can get tickets, but I have to wait until May until they are avaialble again, it seems a strange way to sell tickets but I suppose they have to offer them to festval members first.
I'll be watching the DVD all the way through tonight, I have seen the main Hayley tracks and some of the others. The DVD picture and sountrack is very good. It would have been a bonus if there was "making of documentary" or interviews with the performers.

Hello Tony! Many thanks for the excellent scans, but you appear to have scanned one of the pages twice (compare images CW2 and CW3-1). Now I'm really looking forward to buying the DVD, and I'm pleased it's suitable for all regions. I expect Manhattan Records have realised there will be a big demand for it internationally due to Hayley's involvement! i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifI hope to see you again at another Hayley concert soon. Best Wishes, Richard

Just got my DVD in the mail from Amazon today. It has a neat Making of Feature. Based on the conversations about Hayley's involvement with the group, interestingly, in this they refer to Hayley as a new member of Celtic Woman.

Best Wishes, Richard Hi Richard Yes I have scanned a page twice! I was in a hurry to get the scans up. Is it possible to edit a post once its made? My DVD is at a sister's home as I am "house& dog sitting" at the moment. I will retrieve it and post the missing page tomorrow. There is a "production documentary" under "extras", I do not think this is mentioned on the cover or insert. I watched the whole DVD last night and it is superb. I will be watching it several nights now. I can see no out of synch lip movements. All concert/ festival DVD's have an enhanced digitalised sound track. The most famous film of a festival I can think of is Woodstock 1969, I can assure you that the soundtrack bears no resemblance to what the actual audience heard. My only experience of attending a festival and later hearing/seeing it on DVD is when I spent 5 days at the infamous 1970 Isle of Wight festval. Incidently one of Hayley's favourites Joni Mitchell performed. The sountrack is certainly not what I actually heard. I hope to see you at a Hayley event soon. Tony

Wow what fabulous dresses worn by everyone on the Slane DVD BUT, am I baised, is Hayley's perhaps the best and yet another Hayley dress stunner?

Hello Tony! If you replace the scan in your PhotoBucket album using the same file name, it should change in your post without any editing, but it may take a while before the new image appears. If you create a new link and find you can't edit your post, send the new link to me on a PM and I'll do it for you. Best Wishes, Richard

Hello again everybody! I've got some serious viewing to do this weekend, because I've just found the 'Celtic Woman - A New Journey' DVD in HMV, 150 Oxford Street. It is an import, but quite reasonably priced at £16. I also saw both versions of the CD, so I'm going to post about that in the CD thread. Best Wishes, Richard

Hi Here is the missing page... I will try and see if I can get it to appear in the original post. Talking of Celtic women, if you like Irish folk music I can highly recommend a DVD "Sharon Shannon and friends". Sharon is an Irish virtuoso accordian/squeeze box player. Tony .

Hello everybody! I watched the DVD last night, and it is absolutely fabulous! The show is very well-produced and fast-moving, but there are some well-placed quieter moments. I won't give too much away at this stage because I want everybody to see the DVD and judge it for themselves, but I promise you will enjoy it! I will say that the real highlight for me is Hayley's rendition of 'Laschia Ch'io Pianga', where the lighting effects combined with her voice produce a truly magical experience. However, the whole concert is superb, and the sound and picture quality are stunning throughout the 90+ minutes. Whatever was done during the post-production was clearly necessary and most successful! i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifThe documentary about the preparation is fascinating. There were problems with the weather, but it was all right on the night! Those of you who have this DVD on order, I hope it arrives soon. Don't worry if the skip button on your remote control doesn't work, because you won't be needing it! i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifBest Wishes, Richard

Just checked my order status at DVD4Music.com and it is still shown as "on order" so we've got a bit longer to wait yet.
Also, has anyone noticed that the product information only lists Hayley, Chloe, Lisa and Maread? No mention of Maev - very interesting!
