Hi Joe.
I enjoyed your sharing of Christmas decoration scenes. I take the easy way out by sticking Christmas cards over the tops of pictures alternated with the occasional sprig of holly. This is not because I'm a bachelor and spend the key days of Christmas with family or friends but simply the state of chaos in which my home life rests, while I try to dig out from under the accumulation of several people's lives, due to a succession of family deaths and illnesses over the last four years.
I've been out at Thanksgiving when I gained an idea of the intense cold North America can experience--and that `was as south as Plymouth! I do envy your current exerience of 'traditional' Christmas weather. Snow is something we increasingly can forget experiencing here, save perhaps in Scotland.
What I find difficult to comprehend is having Christmas in the summer time and getting through a winter without having Christmas! Although i suppose 'down under' does have the New Year celebrations!

Hi Katie! Nice pictures from your Caribbean tour. It must be great to see all those places. With which ship you was on tour? A friend of mine worked at Diney Cruise Lines at the reception on a ship called DisneyMagic. She cruised through the Caribbean a few months and like it a lot. Joe, also thank you for your nice Christmas pictures. Thomas

Thanks to everyone for the comments on my photos. I did have a great time on the cruise.
Thomas the cruise was on the Carnival Victory. We stopped at Costa Maya, Mexico and Ocho Rios, Jamaica. We were also suppose to stop at Grand Cayman, but the water was too choppy to stop (the waves were cresting at 7 to 12 feet, they use tender ships instead of a dock there so the water has to be calm). The scenery was great.

Hi Oksy
I really like your photos, the lighting on those beads makes them stand out. My wife & I have had a new camera for Christmas and I am still getting used to it - I have tried taking a few close up shots but they are not as good as yours !! I had better keep practicing. Thanks for sharing.
Mark.

Hello Oksy! Thanks for sharing your wonderful photographs. I can't see a figure in the last one, unless you mean the cloud that looks like a swan with its head in the water! i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifBest Wishes from London, Richard

Hi Oksy, I can definitely see the figure to which you were referring but, since he mentioned it, I can also see Richard's swan. All are superb photographs; thank you for sharing them. Roger

Thank you everyone for your kind words. You are really sweet! Richard, I can see the swan too, now that you mentioned it. i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gif I'll try to help you find the figure I'm referring to. Look at the sun in the middle. That's the "head." Then there's two "wings" reaching out along the bottom edge of the cloud, and the rest of the "body" below. It looks like an angel made of light. I actually didn't notice it either until I uploaded it to my computer... it was a pleasant surprise! Oksy
