Hi Caite Great photo of the light parade! Yeah, it's been very warm here in PA as well...not even one inch of snow yet! I think you're in for a snowstorm though... Thanks for sharing the photos of your Christmas tree, Caite! We opted for an artificial tree this year. I'll post some photos of it soon! Take care, Joe

Hello Caite! Thanks for sharing your photographs. The light parade reminds me of Blackpool, where they have special decorated tramcars that come out at night during the famous illuminations. I'm sure one of them looks like the railway train in your picture. i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifMerry Christmas! Richard xxx

Hi Caite
Thats a lovely tree and tall too ! Our ceilings are not tall enough to cope with a tree of that size, I wish they were !! You look set for Christmas now.
Graeme, thats a fantastic picture of a Heron. Earlier this year I was sitting in our conservatory, when a Heron flew down into our garden. After strolling to our pond, he dipped his beak into the water, pulled out one of our goldfish and flew off at spead over the rear tall hedge !! I have netting over the pond now.
Thanks for sharing
Mark.

Sorry to hear about your goldfish Mark Many years ago, our cat fetched a goldfish from a neighbour's pond and brought it into the house whilst the neighbour in question was having tea with my mum!! (Oooops!! I'm off topic aren't I?) Grant

Here is a photo I took ( lol ) of where Hayley lives in New Zealand. She lives near the knobby bit (Banks Peninsula) in the bottom left corner of the photo.

Hello Ross! It's a pity you didn't have a telephoto lens that could take a close-up of Hayley's house, but I'm really impressed with the lengths our photographers go to on this forum. You'll be giving Steve and Stuart ideas now! i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifMerry Christmas, Richard

Hi Ross, That's certainly too high up to have been a sailplane!! Who were the other guys?
Can you see the Brighton Concrete Jetty in that pic. I looked & I know Christchurches layout but couldn't make it out. Have driven around Banks Peninsular quite a bit....Port Lyttelton, etc.
Excellent shot Ross!!!

Hi Ross, I know that Hayley's rise to fame has been astononical but this is surely out of this world! You'd have thought she could have waved or something, though, wouldn't you? Whenever we see Hayley in concert, we all know it takes ages to come down to earth. You have supplied the proof! Thanks for a great picture and I hope you have enough fuel on board for the return flight! Roger

'Mary Did You Know?' This Nativity Scene sculpted by Tim Chalk was gifted to the city of Edinburgh and Edinburgh churches by Sir Tom Farmer and Lady Farmer on 30th November 2003. The sculpture is located at the east end of Princes Street, beside the entrance to Princes Street Gardens. These pictures were photographed yesterday evening. Regards, Andrew

Great pictures everyone. I have now officially graduated from college (hence my absence from the forum). I have been meaning to post a couple pictures from a Caribbean cruise I took during the end of November. Here are a couple pictures from it. From the cruise ship in Miami. The jungle in Mexico. Ants carrying a large piece of cookie down a step in Mayan Ruins in Mexico. Unfortunately for the ants after they got down that step they had about 20 more to go. Sunset off of the coast of Mexico. In Jamaica. Katie

Hi Katie, First of all, congratulations on your graduation! Judging from your photographs, it looks as though you had an amazing cruise. "Here are a couple pictures", you said... and then posted five! You didn't graduate in Maths then! Welcome back to the forum! Roger
