Hi Belinda, Thank you for sharing your lovely botanical photographs with us! From the time stamp on your photographs I can see that your "time machine" camera is still taking you back in time to 2002- it must have a "time-flux capacitor" built into it like the DeLorean in the 'Back to the Future' film? ???Please could I borrow your camera because I'd like to adjust the time settings and take a trip back in time to November 1st 2006 @ 1400hrs, which was the time when we met Hayley as she entered Alfred Salter School! i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gif('Blondie' :'Dreaming' 1978) "I'd build a road in gold just to have some dreaming Dreaming is free Dreaming Dreaming is free Dreaming Dreaming is free" Andrew

HI Belinda
Those are some great pictures - it makes me realise how wintery (is that a word ?) it is now here in the UK !
Dont worry about the date ! I am sure you will figure it out someday.

I certainly can't compete with Joe's Phantom but if anybody can identify this flag then I'll post more shots of to what it belongs. After some research, Graeme, I learned that this flag is from the United East India Company. The 'VOC' refers to Vereenigde Oostindische Compagnie. Here's an extract from this website I found... "More common was the use of the company's cypher, a combination of the letters VOC (Vereenigde Nederlandsche Oost Indische Compagnie), over which a small letter C for Cabo (Cape), was sometimes placed. The flag flown was either that of the Netherlands, or that of the Company, which was the Netherlands flag bearing the Company's cypher". Note that the above does not specifically mention a flag with the Company's cypher with above it a small letter C. It does show us that such a cypher combination existed however and that its use on flags used on ships with the Cape of Good Hope as their homeport must assumed to have been in use. " Very interesting...please post more photos then! Cheers, Joe Extract taken from "FOTW Flags Of The World website at flagspot.net/flags/"Hi Joe & everybody : Here's a detail of the stern of the VOC replica ship. The clue to the name is obvious on the picture. I don't mean text. Graeme (not Marianne...I forgot to log her off) img.photobucket.com/albums/v645/KeithS/wink.gif[/img]

Hi Graemek, Thomas, Richard, Joe, Mark and others! (Phew, that's a mouthful) I'm glad you enjoyed the pictures. Unforunately the pictures don't have sound, but I do have recordings of me singing. They are on my website (www.freewebs.com/caitlincocker) Enjoy! Maybe one day I'll get recordings of the songs I sang as Hayley and put them on my website for a short time. It's likely that I'm going to be performing 'Prayer' a couple of times in the next couple of months. I'll keep you updated. <3 Caite

Wow Caitlin! What a cool costume idea! You pulled it off quite well; in the first picture, you can hardly tell the difference! Which reminds me, for our Photoshop assignments in tech class, I'm superposing my face over Hayley's Pure and Odyssey CD covers. That should be fun, but unfortunately, I won't be able to post the results. I'm also putting my face on the satue of Liberty. I haven't posted in this thread for weeks, so here's some more of my photography: I like the silvery, almost other-worldly atmosphere here. No colour adjustments, by the way. Bigger sizes and more pictures can be found here: www.flickr.com/people/winter-light/Oksy

Hi Oksy, I've just been admiring the latest skyscape photographs which you've shared with us- they're brilliant! The last picture which you included of the sunbeam scene is very dramatic indeed! It's divine! Thanks SO much Oksy! Andrew

Hi Joe, I meant to reply to this post earlier... Your 'Phantom of the Opera' costume is absolutely brilliant! When do you take to the road with the stage show? Maybe you could sing a duet with Hayley? perhaps 'All I Ask of You' ? WOW! You must have spooked a few folks out on your way home from work that night! i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifRegards, Andrew

Hi Joe, I think your costume looks like a cross between the Phantom and Zorro! You just have to wear a hat and change that 'X' to a 'Z'.

I thought it might be a bit over the top for work. The costume was good quality for a Walmart special. Probably comparable to the fancy dress hire shops. It's funny that a Zorro costume should be mentioned as well...as that was what my twin brother was dressed as... Joe [

Graeme & Marianne, After viewing the new picture of the wagtail babies (the one where all their beaks are open) in the hello from me topic in the board I had to come back here and tell you both that I adore you pictures of the baby birds. You should post the other one here as well. That picture is adorable! Katie

Beautiful !! ......... This one shows mum (or dad) doing a demo fly by to give her/his littlies an aviation lesson. They took 1 day to learn their entire flying skills repertoire !!!
