It really does mean a lot to us to gain the input you give, Belinda and others down under. We just hope to reciprocate by ensuring you know as much as we can give you from up here! And I don't think we are cocky about having her so much... we do realise we are very fortunate. All teh best. Peter S.

Hi Belinda, Quite right... I also believe in "quality rather than quantity" and so indeed "less is more" i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifReading posts with "one word answers" is a complete waste of time! Regards, Andrew

Congratulations to Belinda! Caite, I love you pictures from the Renaissance Festival. They bring back memories from when I went to one when I was in high school. Here are some pictures that I took this past summer that I just came across (I had forgotten about them.) A cute picture of my second cousin helping my brother-in-law put film in his camera. A fountain that was a couple blocks away from the apartment I stayed in during the summer in the Chicago suburbs. Buckingham Fountain in Chicago. Navy Pier in Chicago. Kids playing in a fountain that was put in this past summer. The fountain also went off on the ground; the surprised looks on the kids’ faces were entertaining. The garden outside of my apartment door. I lived on the second story of a house. A couple that was in their 60’s lived below me (they owned the house.) They had amazing gardens. A funny picture of my little sister trying to water ski near my parent’s house in Oklahoma. To give her credit she successfully stayed up a couple weeks before with my uncle’s help. She didn’t get up the day this picture was taken. She blamed in on the choppy water…. A pretty butterfly that was on an island we stopped on (same boat trip from the above picture.) Another butterfly on the island. My parent’s boat. Devil’s Lake in Wisconsin. Katie Just wanted to ad a note about some really cool chalk drawing pictures I found. This link, which was featured on Yahoo, reminded me of the chalk drawing picture Caite posted. The 3D drawings a really cool; check it out. users.skynet.be/J.Beever/pave.htm

Here's a random photograph of the moon, taken on September 3rd fairly low in the South East while walking though a local park at dusk. The sky appears black as although it wasn't quite dark, the moon was very bright in comparison with the sky. I took this resting the camera on a fence, using my Pentax DL2 SLR, 50-200 zoom at 200mm, manually set 400 ISO, auto shutter/aperture at 1/125 sec F8, auto exposure spot metering, auto focus, originally a RAW image, cropped and enlarged. Notes to self: Try it with a tripod, cable release and mirror lockup next time! The Moon from Fareham, September 3rd, 8:30pm.

Dave, that's a fabulous photograph of the moon. You should send a print to Patrick Moore! i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifKatie, thanks for sharing your excellent photographs and posting the link to Julian Beever's drawings. Those 3-D pictures are quite incredible, and they are definitely the best pavement drawings I've ever seen! Best Wishes, Richard

I've just referred to the link you provided to the 3-D pavement chalk drawings. They are brilliant- quite surreal! Quite a few of them made me laugh! i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifRegards, Andrew
