As the sound format is unusual, I think it is better as WMA (or MP3). I had been considering converting it myself, but gladly replace the current file with your WMA version. I don't think Linda and Peter Mace would object - but I'll check with them anyway. Gerrit Hi Gerrit, to save you doing an email and because the main HW forum is as slow as treacle at the moment, Linda has already thanked me for doing the conversion and has indicated her agreement to it. Cheers, Dave

I know - but I already did the e-mail befor you posted this, and have seen the discussion on the official forum and have had a reply from Linda Cheers, Gerrit P.S. I sent Linda the link to this board. This may well have been the first forum that payed attention to Zoë As the sound format is unusual, I think it is better as WMA (or MP3). Dear All I am Zoë Mace's VERY PROUD mother and have just been reading through your messages about my daughter. I had no idea we guys were supporting Zoe when her album got thrown out of the charts. Zoe's music director did challenge the charts company, but we didn't get anywhere and that fact that Zoe didn't recieve any airplay, (even from Classic FM who said they would continue to play the album when asked by the Newspapers) made sales drop It is very uplifting and a wonderful feeling that you all think she has a good voice and worth talking about. We have just been through the most difficult year of our lives and little Zoë just keeps us all going, she is the most fantastic child with a huge heart!! Zoë recorded "Songs for my Sister" just 4 weeks after Jodie's very unexpected death, she was so determined her sister would never be forgotten, they were devoted to each other!! If you have a copy 30 seconds after the last track you will hear the secret track of Zoë & Jodie singing together. Andy Lovegrove, the producer, promised Jodie she would sing on Zoë's second album so we agreed it should be included. Now nearly 9 months on and Zoë fast approaching her 11th birthday and with the help of a brilliant singing teacher (who has shown Zoë how to sing in the correct way without damaging her voice) you wouldn't believe the sound she makes now. Plans for the new year are to record a third album with or without the help of a recording company. The next album will be purely classical and hopefully with a full orchestra. We are in talks with a major recording company so watch this space, however, Zoë has made remarkable progress all on her own and is hosting her very first show at The New Theatre in Oxford on 18 June with all the proceeds going to 5 children's charities. Zoë has also been invited to sing with The Royal Marines this month and if all goes well they want her to sing at one of their concerts this year. Zoë has also won six awards for her charity work this year and is determined to go on bringing awareness to learning disabilities in both children and adults. One very special award, which she was very proud to receive was "Young Mencap Person of the Year" . Mencap are celebrating their 60th year this January and Zoë received an invitation from The Countess of Wessex to attend a reception at St James Palace. Zoë's website www.zoemace.co.uk is VERY out of date and we are having it up dated as we speak, so it is so nice of Gerrit and Dave to include Zoë's story on their websites, helping to spread the word about Zoë's fund raising efforts. But if you are interested in purchasing her first album, (Little Ray of Light) I am told that there are a few available, just follow the link on the website. So far Zoë's voice has raised £78,000 for charity in 12 months, so you can see why we are such proud parents!!. So thank you all again for your kind words, it means so much and Zoë is thrilled that you are supporting her!! Now we have found you, we will keep you all posted Love to all from The Mace family xxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Hello Mrs Mace...
Linda, let me begin by expressing my condolences for Jodie. I'm very sorry that she was taken from you so unexpectedly.
But I'm pleased that Zoë will be recording a third album. Zoë has amazing potential and we here are all keen on watching her career. I'm proud of her charitable work both in the past and in future.
I'll do what I can here in the USA to spread your daughter's "little ray of light" to this side of the Atlantic!
My best wishes for a wonderful 2006, Joe

Hi Joe How very kind of you to help our little Zoë and spread the word to the USA! I am just putting the finishing touches to a book I have written called "Little Ray of Light". The book is all about Jodie's life and how she changed my life and the story behind how she got Zoë singing. So I am always on my computer so it is nice to communicate with people all over the world whilst I work ! Linda x

Hello Linda, and welcome to our forum! I'm sure you feel at home here already, and I'd just like to say it is a real pleasure for us to support you and Zoe in any way we can. Thanks to Dave's conversion, I have now listened to "Summertime", and Zoe's performance is amazing! i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifWell done Zoe! Best Wishes, Richard

I just listened to Zoe's clip and WOW! What a voice for someone soooooo young!! To bad they didn't let her stay in the charts, because she could have beat Charlotte Church's record of the youngest artist to be No.1. Her voice quality reminds me of Holly Holyoake on her first album, and I'm sure that she will get even better as time goes on. i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifAnd it's just so wonderful to see how much she loves her sister, and yet its so sad to know that she lost her... Best wishes to Zoe and the Mace family! Hugs, Tashi
