Hello Stephanie and Kimberly! "May It Be" is my favourite track on the DVD as well. Hayley sang it beautifully at Hampton Court two weeks ago, and I'm really pleased to hear it's going to be on her next album "Odyssey". I'm hoping this song (and others) will get plenty of airplay on the radio all over the world when the album is released. i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifBest Wishes from London, Richard

I am also pleased with that track, and I hope it just may herald Hayley singing for one of the Narnia movies currently shooting in her beautiful homeland. Ironically, a song like that would probably talk about reaching the Utter East, whereas the Lord of the Rings song was "Into the West."
I thought her spritual medley was very cool, and it is too bad she hasn't committed that to CD, but all in good time, I'm sure.
The 30-minute documentary was great, and adopted just the right tone, covering her background in music from the beginning, and a little bit of her family background, but not going deep into personal stuff by showing her house and so forth. In my opinion doing that would have been a mistake.

Maybe it would not be considered for inclusion on a CD simply because 'Amazing Grace' already appears on Hayley's self titled CD, on 'Pure', and on the Japanese single. However, I feel the other two songs from the medley, 'Ave Maria' and 'Down to the River' recorded as separate songs in their own right could be a very popular decision. Roger

Hi , i agree, i would like to see Down to the River recorded as a separate song, some where in the future maybe as a bonus track.

Hi everyone! I was watching the DVD this morning and it came to Wuthering Heights. I noticed immediately that the tempo seemed reasonably faster than we hear on her recorded versions. Did anyone else notice the same thing? Maybe it's because there were time constraints? Or maybe it was purely by mistake of the pianist who started playing too fast (since that can happen) and everyone else just followed along because they had no choice. Also as I was watching her performance I noticed how much she really enjoys performing Wuthering Heights. <3 Caite Edit: I've just watched the performance again and it seems in the last 30 seconds or so the tempo seems to slow down again. And I wonder if it isn't because the guitarist, who had quite the solo, (and I'm not doubting his ability) needed the slower tempo. Ah, this is what happens when a musician pays close attention to other musicians...

Hi caite, i noticed that too, Wuthering heights was fast and i have posted that some where it may have been on Hayleys Official site, she seemed to be rushing ,i hope not to end the show but she was really enjoying herself so that s the main thing, Wuthering heights went down very well as the last song at the 2004 Nz concert.

she seemed to be rushing ,i hope not to end the show but she was really enjoying herself so that s the main thing, Hi Belinda! I hadn't thought of that. Well, if that was the case a job well done to her musicians for following her! I know sometimes when you enjoy a performance, and because you know something extremely well, you can rush. That would also explain the reason the guitar solo seemed slower: he was going to correct tempo! Does anyone else have an opinion on this? <3 Caite

Hi Caite, Yes, I do. She had reached great Heights during her performance but, by the time she got to this song, she was Wuthering! Richard, I'm right behind you! Roger

I like Hayley's DVD performance of "Beat of your heart" much better than the "Pure" track, her voice is richer and she lets it fly. Maybe a response to a live audience? TimJ

Better late than never I purchased a copy of this superb dvd this week and have just watched it including the bonus material. I must admit I was totally "blown away" by it and what better way to prepare for the concert at Cadogan tomorrow night! i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifConsidering Hayley was only seventeen when it was recorded I continue to be in awe of her professionalism and brilliance at such a relatively young age. The bonus material really is a treat and seeing Hayley at the age of fifteen perform "I dreamed a dream" from Les Miserables was amazing. Thanks, Hayley for the pleasure and enjoyment you bring. Hi Rodders OK, I know we are by definiton a little biased here towards Hayley but I would go as far as saying this dvd is the best produced of all live recordings I have ever seen. So well done Ian for the musical direction and all the engineers involved in producing such a high quality recording. err..... and of course Hayley! i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifBest wishes Martin
