I suppose I could always borrow yours. dont hit me, I bruise. John. I've already asked at our local video hirers John. (Lake Illawarra NSW.) They don't hire musical performance videos. I was going to offer to plant one but no go. Graeme PS See also : hwi.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=livefromnz&action=display&thread=3142&page=10#95757

Haha thats a brilliant idea Graeme! I'm actually working in a movie rental store part-time at the moment, so the whole "planting" idea would be easy for me....could do it without the owner even knowing lol. Jono

If you are in NZ you can walk into any store which sells music DVDs and it will probably be under 'W'. If not: AMAZON USA LINKAMAZON UK LINKOr you could try other websites in your country! Good luck i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifEDIT: Well I've just worked out you're from Australia. You can order it from one of your online stores, or from a NZ online store (I'd guess it would be a similar price). BTW, I noticed you don't have Odyssey album yet, I just saw that on www.sanity.com.au/ for AU$5.00 -- Very good price! EDIT 2: It's strange that your cheapest option may be to order through Amazon USA (yes, including shipping)...but that would be a Zone 1 DVD so you'd need a multi zone player. The cheapest option in NZ is off shelf in stores.

Wow I managed to get Hayley's Live From New Zealand DVD while I was away and it is brilliant, I have to admit when I was watching it I actually had tears in my eyes when she sang 'May It Be', the scenery in the back ground just blew me away totally and the expression on her face was beautiful, such serenes if there is such a word. Much love Tracy

Hi Tracy, congratulations well done, you have the ultimate DVD in your possession. The more times you play it the more you come to appreciate how it all began for Hayley. Be sure to check out the bonus tracks and watch the interview with Hayley's family There is also a track of “I Dreamed A Dream” which was recorded here in NZ (Auckland) with Russell Watson, bear in mind this DVD is going back a bit now and Hayley has gained a lot of experience since then. Above all else Tracy, enjoy it IMO it is a must in all Hayley fans collection, ENJOY i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gif i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifcheers, Rodders CH CH NZ

Hi Rodders, I see you are from New Zealand, I have never heard the name Rodders before, is that Maori or just an abbreviation or slang for Rod. I have watched Hayley's DVD twice now, I love the interviews with her parents etc, they are obviously very loving. her music teacher seems very taken with her as well doesn't she. I love the comment she made about Russell and having a crush on him when she was younger :je he has a very powerful voice doesn't he. much love Tracy.

... her music teacher seems very taken with her as well doesn't she. Hello Tracy! Do you mean Hayley's music teacher from school or Dame Malvina Major, who coached Hayley during the early days of her singing career? Some of us had the pleasure of meeting Dame Malvina at St. James's Church in Piccadilly a couple of years ago. You can read all about it in this thread. Love, Richard

Yes I meant her music teacher from school, Hayley's parents seem really nice as well, Mr Westenra has a very gentle face and would imagine him to be a very loving person, am I allowed to say that . The whole family appear to be really close and I imagine Hayley would get a lot of support from her family. Great DVD. much love Tracy.

Old thread for an old topic-I know.....But I never stop getting enjoyment from this DVD. So many favs from this DVD that it's hard to limit it to 2 or 3. I either listen to it all the way through or I just listen to selected bits as the mood strikes me. My cat Snuggles also gives this DVD a " 5 Purr " rating out of five.

As it was raining for most of yesterday, I decided to watch this very nostalgic performance. Ah, that wonderful pure soprano voice. Those good old days. One of my favourites from the concert is "Across the Universe of Time" with little sis Sophie but it occurred to me that I hadn't got it on any Hayley album. Was it never recorded for an album?
