Your collage of Sophie is superb Belinda. Thanks for that. I've just joined your Sophie ProBoard and activated it!

heres a collage of Sophie pictures Hi Belinda, thanks for that excellent collage! I see you managed to squeeze in a shot of Isaac and Hayley too, near the bottom right with Hayley wearing jeans and a turquoise-ish (me not good with colours!) top with thin shoulder straps - Isaac and Sophie on either side. Yes, you are good at these collages! Cheers, Dave

Hi Belinda, Is Sophie's CD out yet!? I guess you can say I'm chomping at the bit to add yet another Westenra voice for my ear's sake i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifOr do you think it will be released only in NZ I really loved Sophie's voice ever since I heard her back her sister...in Across the Universe... its positively lovely. all the best, Peter T.

Hi , No Cd, I don't htink there will be one for a while, I think Sophie is quite content doing what shes doing finishing school.
with a bit of singing when she feels like it.

I don't know her but I'm not even sure she would want to sing as a job. I mean, she would probably love it, but she would always be compared to Hayley and that can be a real burden. Though I'd love to have her CD if she releases one because she's extremely talented as well !

Stephany, Sophie is featured singing behind Hayley in 'Do You Hear What I Hear,' and 'Through These Eyes' in the 'My Gift to You' CD and most notably in "Across the Universe of Time' in the 'Pure' CD and the 'Live from New Zealand' DVD. She also has a beautiful voice and I see I'm not alone in anxiously waiting for her to release a CD on her own. I, for one, would not consider her to be trying to perform from under her sister's shadow. Although there are similarities in their voices (what has been described as 'family harmony') Sophie is her own person and will doubtlessly perform as such.

I heard a while ago that Sophie is likely to go a little more towards pop than Hayley and is keen to write her own material. As Belinda mentioned, she will complete her education before pursuing her musical career. This, I understand, is at her own request.

Stephany, Sophie is featured singing behind Hayley ... most notably in 'Across the Universe of Time' in the 'Pure' CD ... On the "Pure" CD?? I see no vocals credit given to her in any of the Pure liner notes. I'm very curious as to where this info came from.

Steve: One merely need to listen to the track on Pure and then to watch the Live in New Zealand DVD. The voice in the background is the same. Only on the DVD Hayley introduces "my gorgeous sister Sophie" to the audience.

I highly doubt that Ed. It sounds very much to me like Hayley is doing her own backgrounds for the song as featured on Pure. In fact, I am pretty sure she once mentioned in an interview that the process of doing that (singing harmony with one self) was harder than it might seem.

Hi everyone,
The only time Sophie has provided backing (or duetting) vocals on a CD was on the two tracks on MGTY. 'Across the Universe of Time' and 'Mummers Dance' is Hayley.
I have heard Hayley and Sophie perform live and they do sound incredibly alike so I can fully understand why Ed reached his conclusion.

This discussion brings up a thought. I wonder if Isaac also inherited a "voice"?!

Hi Peter,
In a word, YES! He also performed with Hayley and Sophie during the Pure tour in Australia, New Zealand, Japan and the UK in 2004. He has a fine voice and I have heard recently that he is a very good guitarist. Belinda, Thomas and Rodders saw him busking in Christchurch just a few weeks ago, I believe.
