I wonder if Sophie launches her own music career as a singer, if this forum will have to change it's name: HSWI or WI ? Well it couldn't be WI Dean or we'd become the Women's Institute!! Best wishes Grant

Hi Ross Thank you very much for this clip. I must admit I haven't really followed Sophie much (except for reading the threads on HWI) but I have to admit she has a fantastic singing voice, particularly the phrasing.
I look forward to more samplers and perhaps even a cd at some point in the future.
Best wishes Martin

Were the rest of the family there? Hello Peter! I doubt if Ross would know, because he wasn't there himself! To save further confusion, this was a DVD of a concert that took place last June. Ross hopes to see Sophie at Ashburton on 8th February. Richard

Thanks for the clip Ross. Sophie's voice is lovely, and like some others here, I'd love to hear her perform live now she has grown up.

Richard Hi everyone, yeah your right Richard it is difficult if you are not there yourself i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gif i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gif But,it wouldn't surprise me if Gerald & Jill and Issacs were in the audience though.I would say it would be odds on favorite that they probably were there especially the way the Westenra family support each other when taking part in an event such as this, but I don't know of course. I wasn't there either i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gif i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gif i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifBut I would have been if I had known about it. There is a strong chance I could be at Ashburton too on Feb 8th, so with a bit of luck I will try and get to that one also. cheers, Rodders.

Thanks for the clip Ross Sophie sounds amazing, I hope she comes over to the UK soon to sing with Hayley! I would like this too, but I doubt if it'll be before Sophie finishes uni Thanks again Ross, Do you happen to have any details for how to get hold of the DVD for those of us who are overseas? I wonder if Sophie launches her own music career as a singer, if this forum will have to change it's name: HSWI or WI ? Dean I would email the following address and see if they would post overseas arts@canterbury.ac.nzin their order form on www.canterbury.ac.nz/platform/index.shtmlit allows credit cards so it should be possible to order the CD. Note the DVD might be region 4.

Hello again Ross! I see the concert took place inside the Arts Centre in Christchurch. Is this the same place where she and Hayley used to busk outside? Richard

The Art Centre used to be the Canterbury University which was where Lord Rutherford first started experimenting with radioactivity.
