On Amazon, Paradiso is at #3 in classical MP3 albums. Whispers in a Dream is at #8 in classical MP3 songs. The next highest ranking for classical downloads is Once Upon a Time in the West, which is #97. The fact that Whispers is available as a single is probably helping get it so high compared to the others. And since it's probably the most advertized song from the album. The World in Union (with just Hayley) album is #1 in Opera & Vocal MP3 albums, and #16 in Classical. The English song by itself is #6 in Opera & Vocal in MP3 songs, and #41 in classical. In regular CD sales, the entire World in Union album itself is at #100 in Rock, and #261 in Music over all. Oh, and on Amazon Canada, Paradiso (regular album) is at #2 in Classical music!! It was #4 last time I checked. Amazon.com has her at #12 in classical, and that's before the release.

Woohoo!!!! Hayley is in the iTunes UK top 100 singles chart with World in Union, no. 84 as I write! I don't think that's ever happened before for a Hayley single or single track in the UK. Ever! In history! I think. i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifCheers, Dave (PS iTunes makes up around 80% of the official single chart so if it keeps it up for several days, it will eventually get in there too).

I went to HMV today and they didn't have a single one of Hayley's CDs-to be honest I'm not sure whether that's a good thing or not- they might (hopefully) get more in stock soon- it may mean a lot of people have bought Paradiso- there were about 25 copies there when I last checked...!...My friend told me Morrisons didnt have Paradiso either but are advertising the rugby world cup CD...there's a poster of it under the title 'coming soon' which is good best wishes Sing

We have another out of stock situation to report, Amazon UK are out of stock of World In Union album (CD). www.amazon.co.uk/World-Union-Rugby-2011--Official/dp/B005C8VQSKIt's currently #49 there and has been climbing but having no stock isn't going to help much. Paradiso has also recovered a little there, it dropped to #30 on Saturday but is back at #23 today so far. No more Rugby games until Wednesday though, the single has drifted down to no. 80 at iTunes UK. Dave

Hi Dave and everyone
At ASDA this morning Paradiso was at No.44 but still in a fairly prominent position as my local store has several rows of miscellaneous CDs beneath the top 50.
There were about 8 copies on display.
Best wishes Grant

They might be out of stock because more people are buying it than they expected. Couldn't that be it? Isn't that kind of a good thing?

Thanks Grant and Jim for your updates, that's what I found too and it's not too bad for week 3 - Sainsburys seem to have Paradiso at no. 21 which is good, and World In Union at no. 20 - which could have a knock-on effect onto Paradiso in the official chart next week (I hope!).
Asda near me were, like Amazon, out of stock of Paradiso, so yes Libby, some places seem to have been caught out and hopefully that will deter them from dropping it any further down their charts.
Over at iTunes it is getting interesting! Hayley's World In Union single has dropped down their chart to no. 108 today - but the album is out now and her album track World In Union from the compilation is also in the chart, at no. 130. When the official chart for the week comes out, all versions will be combined so it will chart only once, much higher than the individual versions.
World In Union the album is no. 28 at iTunes but I can't find Paradiso in their top 200 albums at the moment.
It will be interesting to see how World In Union affects Paradiso in the next week or two!

BEWARE......
Just been into ASDA - and as well as Paradiso down at 44 - they have a new album in at 27 - called "The Rugby Album"
This is old stuff. The World in Union is the Ladysmith Black Mambazo version - not Hayley's. And there apprears to be no Hayley on it at all.
DO NOT BUY THIS ALBUM.
I am very disappointed with ASDA who do not seem to stock the offical album, and are promoting this one above it at a very cheap price - £5.
I just might take my shopping elsewhere....
BEWARE.

Martin D Hello Martin D! I noticed exactly the same thing yesterday evening in my local Asda - but their printed chart on display called it "World In Union". But their display rack below the chart had Rugby Anthems for sale (with a free DVD). However... when I pointed it out, the sales assistant immediately produced a copy of the real World In Union for me from the store room - minus the usual security tag - so they had it but were not displaying it. My guess is that somebody somewhere has messed up (remember, Amazon are currently out of stock) and that Asda did not receive enough stock so they have decided to replace World in Union until the stock situation os rectified (Amazon say Thursday). Supermarkets will never deliberately have empty slots on their display racks, so it must be a stock situation (even though my Asda had at least one copy). But it is misleading! Some people will buy Rugby Anthems thinking it's World in Union and will not bother to change it later on, I think we should all complain. Dave

I was in Harlow today HMV have Paradiso at numer 31 on their general charts- had a few copies there, also number 5 on their specialist chart (several copies) and also several copies in the classical section- this is good prominent display. However except paradiso they only had 1 copy of ROD and 1 copy of Odyssey, HMV never seem to have many Hayley albums, but lots of paradiso this time which is good. Sainsburys had Hayley at 21 I think and had about 4 copies so thats good too- I don't remember seeing the rugby one.

Sometimes in HMV, Just below the display rack are open shelves, with the overstock, have a quick peep and if there are lots of copies of the album, you could always put a few more up on the display, and in the Number One spot and in the Ennio Morricone section. I hope HMV have the sense to put them in the Morricone section themselves, Many people may be looking there, but may know nothing whatsoever about Hayley.... YET !
