Thanks for that information Stephany, it's a bit naughty of them though as Hayley is involved in only about a third of the listed tracks. It should be: "Cast Recording (Hayley Westenra, Vittorio Grigolo & others)" or something like that. Oh, I see that HMV (that you mentioned) has done that (OCR = original cast recording) so well done to HMV for being first to get it right!

We also know now that the orchestra is the RLPO, so that's two reasons why it should qualify for the main chart (Cast recording, same orchestra).

I cancelled my "West Side Story" order on Crotchet.co.uk and placed another one on HMV. Cheaper

The HMV price £8.99 is a typical price for chart CDs in the UK so I am now hopeful that HMV will stock it as such, and that the supermarkets will do the same. If HMV can be persuaded that it's destined for the charts, so can the supermarkets... and if they stock it, it's guaranteed into the main album chart. I shall buy my copy from Sainsburys, Tesco or ASDA on the release date if they stock it... whoever is the cheaper. i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gif
