Hi fellow collectors,

Just found this..........



I have the retail version of this Australian release but it is the first promo of it I have seen ? Has anyone else seen one before ?

Not to be confused with the TWO other albums of the same Title

It's ironic, since the new 2004 "Special Edition" of 'Pure' was released on 15th November 2004.
That night I saw Hayley perform at the Usher Hall in Edinburgh (as did Roger!) I bought a copy of the new CD in the foyer after the Concert.

Incidentally I heard Hayley perform 'Wiegenlied' for the first time that night too! What a truly "celestial" rendition it was too

Hayley performed a stunning duet of 'Hine e Hine' with supporting artist, Mario Frangoulis at the end of her set that night.

Ah! I knew I had seen that CD somewhere! This is the exact one I just got on eBay.

Hayley told me at the National Concert Hall, Dublin that she had never seen one of these before.
She took a good look at it on both sides now , I got the impression she liked it.

So they must have been made at the time when ideas were being proposed for the promotion of West Side Story.
Shame they did not produce more of them, effective promo item at a very reasonable cost, possibly even cheaper than the high end SUPER JEWEL BOX that was finally used for WSS promo and retail version items that were sent to the BBC.

Now this one really raised an eyebrow, these ones are not meant to escape, Hayley actually asked how I got this one.

I told her I got it on E-Bay and that it was covered in building or cement dust when it was put up for sale.



It's in safe hands now.

The reason I wanted this one signed instead of my "Retail release" was because this one has an additional track version of Hayley Westenra - I'll Make Music (Radio Edit)

Just posting this one for reference and to keep my Photobucket account active,

I am beginning to think that Photobucket are closing accounts if there is no activity on it for a year or more.

sorry about the rotation, I have tried several times to correct it, but the edit facility on Photobucket just keeps doing something else to the commands

Hello Paul!

If you edit a photo in Photobucket, there is often a delay of several hours before it changes on the forum. Your picture looks fine now.
