Thank you Meagan. With thanks to Gerald Westenra, I can now confirm that Hayley does, indeed, play the piano on 'Sonny'! Roger Doesn't Hayley also play the beginning to 'The Water Is Wide'? I can't wait to hear 'Sonny' though. As for CT, I almost hope it has a few different tracks from the UK version because then I can get both and enjoy the gorgeous music for twice as long in one sitting and argue that I'm playing two different CD's! <3 Caite

Does anybody know how many songs will be Hayley's, and if they will be of the Classical or Crossover/Pop variety... from my own perspective I would love a bit more POP and a bit less Classical! Lol! Love and Light People! Hi MJ, It looks as though Hayley was involved in writing four of the songs but in each case, they were in collaboration with other people. She certainly wrote some of the words. Whether she also wrote any of the music is, so far, unclear. We are assured that the album will qualify for the UK Classical Charts. Having said that, the indications are that the overall *feel* might be a little more pop than Odyssey was. I guess we shall know more in three weeks' time! Roger

Hi Steve H, I think it is highly likely that there will be a Special Edition of Treasure in time. That seems to be the norm for the UK market nowadays. For any other artist, that would annoy me but, for Hayley, I am always so pleased to obtain even one more track that I would always buy as many versions as I need to ensure I have the complete collection. Hello Caite and everybody! As far as I know, Hayley only plays the piano intro on 'The Water Is Wide', then another pianist takes over. I believe Hayley plays the piano throughout 'Sonny', so I'm really looking forward to hearing it! Best Wishes, Richard

Hi Dori, We believe the picture that Cathleen posted is likely to appear on the NZ edition (but without the word 'Celtic'). I imagine the tracklisting will appear fairly soon. Roger And here it is.... THE TRACKLISTING FOR "CELTIC TREASURE"1. Let Me Lie 2. Scarborough Fair 3. Shenandoah 4. Summer Fly 5. Whispering Hope 6. Danny Boy 7. Summer Rain 8. Last Rose of Summer, The 9. One Fine Day 10. Sonny 11. Water Is Wide, The 12. Melancholy Interlude 13. Abide With Me I found it at www.cduniverse.com/productinfo.asp?pid=7378052&cart=483404655&BAB=EThe bad news is that five of the songs from the UK edition were left out (La Notte del Silento, Santa Lucia, E Pari Ra, The Heart Worships and Bist Du Bei Mir). Instead, the US version has Scarborough Fair and The Water Is Wide on it. I'm guessing that these are the recordings from the second UK edition of Odyssey. The other song which is exclusively on the US edition is The Last Rose of Summer. I'm not aware that Hayley recorded this song before. So what do we think.... is this a new one, and is it Decca's attempt to try and get us all to buy both versions? Jeroen

Hi Jeroen,
It's good to see the Tracklisting is out, If US has 13 i'm Guessing NZ will be the same but surely with E Pari Ra probably instead of the Last Rose of Summer. Think i'm going to like the UK version.although i like Celtic Treasure's cover. All The foreign sounding songs. have been left off the US one. Did you notice three of the songs have Summer in the title, Hayley must be feeling the cold

Hi Jeroen, Thanks for finding the tracklist! It is good to finally know what songs are going to be on it. I am dissapointed that some of the songs aren't on it, so I guess I'll just have to get another version. Glad to see that The Water Is Wide and Scarborough Fair are on there because I never got the UK special edition so now I will have those songs! i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifOnly 28 days till it comes out! You could be right, Raymond. There is the small possibility that the US version might contain the Celtic songs from Odyssey, but I'm only guessing. Yes I thought that would happen. Scarborough Fair and The Water Is Wide.

Hi Jon, Scarborough Fair and The Water is Wide (O Waly Waly) aren't Celtic, they are English folk songs... but I know what you meant - you made a good call! Cheers, Dave

Hi Dori, We believe the picture that Cathleen posted is likely to appear on the NZ edition (but without the word 'Celtic'). I imagine the tracklisting will appear fairly soon. Roger And here it is.... THE TRACKLISTING FOR "CELTIC TREASURE"Hello everyone and thanks for the tracklisting, Jeroen! A possible Irish angle for the US version, Celtic Treasure, has been commented on several times here and on the official forum so I thought I'd add what I think is the type and Country of Origin to the above tracklisting and here it is (corrections are awaited ): 1. Let Me Lie [Original song] 2. Scarborough Fair [Traditional, English] 3. Shenandoah [Traditional, American] 4. Summer Fly [Folk, American] 5. Whispering Hope [Traditional, American] 6. Danny Boy [Traditional, Irish] 7. Summer Rain [Original song] 8. Last Rose of Summer, The [Traditional, Irish] 9. One Fine Day [Opera, Italian] 10. Sonny [Traditional, Irish] 11. Water Is Wide, The [Traditional, English] 12. Melancholy Interlude [Classical, English, original lyrics] 13. Abide With Me [Traditional (hymn), English ] So I make that: English - 4 Original - 3 (+ 1 for lyrics) Irish - 3 American - 3 Sadly (and I think this is unforgiveable) we have lost the one Traditional New Zealand song E Pari Ra and the US branch of Universal Records should be ashamed of themselves. The UK version (see this thread here has: Original - 3 (+ 1 original lyrics) English - 3 American - 3 Irish - 2 Italian - 2 (+ 1 Italian style) German - 1 New Zealand - 1 which it seems to me has a slightly broader and (for me) nicer balance of traditional and pop/original songs from many Countries... with just the lightest tinge of classical. Cheers, Dave

Thank you very much for the tracklisting, Jeroen. I know a lot of members have been eagerly awaiting it.
I can't say I am surprised at the additional tracks which are not on the UK version but I am stunned at some of those which have been omited. I would strongly encourage our American and Canadian friends to buy the UK version if they possibly can.
Having said that, the US version looks to be a fine album too so I would not discourage anyone from buying it. [I'm doing my best, Hayley!]
Jeroen, the only currently available recording of 'The Last Rose of Summer' sung by Hayley is on the Celtic Woman CD and DVD entitled 'A New Journey'. It has not appeared on any of her previous solo albums.

Hmm...If 'The Last Rose of Summer' is the one off the New Journey album (which I have), I guess I won't be needing to buy Celtic Treasure. We'll see. I might buy it just because I'm a huge fan and the cover is cool. i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gif But I kind of hope Hayley re-recorded 'The Last Rose' as a solo. I'm definitely buying the UK version of Treasure!

Dunno if this is the appropriate place for this, but given the differing track lists I'd like to pick up the UK version as well as the US version. I've already preordered the US version with Amazon Prime. However, looking at Amazon US today, there are two versions of Treasure, one is $43 USD (22 GBP), one is $25 USD (13 GBP). My first question is, what might the differences between those be? My second question is would I be better off having my Dad pick me up a copy while he's in the UK in early March?
