Some of you may be familiar with this video, can any of you shed some light on the where, when and by whom it was recorded. I suspect I have seen Hayley sing some other songs in the same setting with the same orchestra, but I can no longer locate them on YouTube. I'm pretty sure it was in Japan, perhaps 2009. Many of her appearances there were televised, and we often relied on Japanese member Maya to record it for us. |

Hi Paige, That performance with Aled Jones at the Classic Brit Awards on 23 May 2003 is (unless I've missed something) better than anything we have in the HWI archives - dating back to before my time. We only had a poor quality VHS recording that wasn't, I think, good enough to put on the website so this video is of historical significance, well done on a great find that youtuber LaurentLEDRU76 uploaded as recently as 2011! The long defunct Classic FM TV used to broadcast a lot of this kind of classical crossover videos and that's where the youtuber copied it from. Wow, another 2003 good quality video after all this time! I have embedded the actual video into your post. Cheers, Dave |

Which was on Winter Magic, released 2009. So, while a good memory helps, all you have to do is put a few facts together, and you get the answer. |
