Wanted to share this video again. One of my favorite collaborations Hayley did! 2009 was a peak year for Hayley, musically. So much good stuff came out that year.

I've always liked that one, too.

I was interested in where our Youtube channel views come from so I've just dug out these statistics and have compared January 2015 with January 2020. Shows how the world is changing!
January 2015
57% Windows computers 17% Android phones/devices 16% iPhones/Apple iOS devices
January 2020
37% Android phones/devices 30% Windows computers 19% iPhones/Apple iOS devices
It's not surprising, but some may be interested. Android is the big winner, Windows the big loser. With younger people than our average demographic, I suspect that the change is much greater.

I am interested in the rest of 90% and 86% as a guy who don't use those major 3 OSs. January 2015, 57%+17%+16%=90% January 2020, 37%+30%+19%=86% I have been in use of the Linux and I just wonder how many of Linux users are watching those HWI Youtube videos.

Hi Maya, it's great to hear from you again and I hope you are keeping well!
Here is a longer list, for the 12 months up to today. Unfortunately, Linux is fairly low down on the list. I didn't include anything below 0.3%, there are surprisingly quite a lot of them!
12 months to 12 March 2020
%... O/S 34.6 Android 31.5 Windows 21.4 iOS 3.8 Macintosh 3.6 Smart TV 0.9 Chromecast 0.6 Roku OS 0.4 Linux 0.3 Apple tvOS 0.3 PlayStation 2.6 Others
100.0 TOTAL

I was amazed to know that there are many other oprating systems used. I'm doing fine. Everything is all right except that I miss Hayley. Lately, Hayley does not have any activity here in Japan and I don’t have any chance to see her any more nor to record and send you her TV appearances. I happened to find a Youtube video which only has a Japanese title “翼をください【訳詞付】- ヘイリー・ウェステンラ”and the viewers count number is reaching to a million rapidly. Most of comments are in Japanese and this simply means that the majority of viewers are Japanese pople and she is still popular here. So it's only 0.4% who use Linux OS. As an ex engineer, it's comfortable to use it for me. It's safer and easy to use since the GUI interface was quite improved and it's not difficult to use Linux any more. It's also free to use. This doctor uses the Japanese version of Linux influenced by me.

we are in voluntary lock down since 12th March due to covid-19, got really tired of the updates on the telly and switched over to YouTube (On the tv) and just entered HAYLEY WESTENRA and let it run for a few hours, I was amazed at how many of the names of the people who had posted the videos were familiar or known to us over the years also many who we don't know or don't know the names they post under but some of them clicked into place as I watched them like this one.
anyway, thanks to all of them, each and every one of them.
I also use Chromecast from my phone to the TV on occasions.

I believe the original person who posted it, the person who recorded it from a seat on stage at the concert, whom I believe was from Denmark, posted the lyrics as well, just from what he heard live. And, it is posted in the thread on the concert board where you have to log in to be able in to hear it. But it’s not like we’re ever going to hear it on an album, and I doubt many people are visiting the forum anyway, so it doesn’t really make much difference. It’s all so depressing.

Just happened upon this old video the other day from over 10 years ago! I’m sure everyone here has seen it by now, but it was wonderful hearing Hayley sing this song again, it’d been years since I heard it last. A nice bit of comfort in these rocky times.
Hope y’all are taking staying safe!

(in the Chat thread) In about 2011 or 2012, Hayley was centre stage at the UK's Festival of Remembrance in the Albert Hall in London singing "We'll Meet Again" with the famous wartime film of Vera Lynn singing it on a big screen and the real life Vera in the audience (she's still with us aged 103!).Hayley sang beautifully and it was very moving. For today's 75th anniversary of VE day celebrations, it was sung again, and Katherine Jenkins got the job of leading numerous groups of singers. Yes, I know we're all locked down, but KJ was performing at the front of Buckingham palace. She doesn't live there. What a pity Hayley didn't do it. Namely ... from our channel: Yes, Hayley would have done it better this time too.

There would have been a huge response to this post and link if we had known about this when we were learning the lyrics prior to the Shepherd's Bush gig. I think most people view the forum on their phones now without logging in and are less likely to respond to a post as loging in can be an inconvenience on a mobile device.
