Hi Stephany, Do you think she reverts to little girl when she visits NZ? Like this one of only 2 weeks or so back. graeme Possibly, Graeme. I think Grant also have a point there : it takes time to have beautiful haircuts and it's highly probable that she didn't want to waste her precious time when she was home. She looks great with her natural hair anyway!

If you're wondering, yes, I am having a lot of fun doing this Yup and just being yourself too - heehee I can't see much difference except for one of them where its obviously alot lighter, then again I've not spent so much time trying to descriminate varying colours for a girls hair on a board before and so have no practice doing so like you do It appears that she just likes staying within a band of shades around her natural colour.

Therein you raise one of the perennial mysteries. Since the only constant about the whole of life is that it is in a continual state of change, why is it, that we resist the basis of life... change iself? Peter S. I know matter/forces (ie fermions, bosons, and virtual boson/fermion interactions) are always in flux... but I don't know if its true about humans on the inside... I still feel about 29 on the inside and I don't get the feeling thats going to change despite how things are on the outside I do know like the other guy that my hair count is likely decreasing though It's the inside that matters Peter T. That is for eternity but as time churns so we gain new awareness, perhaps remembering from whence we came and finally achieve return. Pretty complex issues but it is the inside and the extent to which that shines outside that matters and our Hayley is all shining outwards from deep inisde. Were our lights so bright... Peter S.

Well done for a superb juxtaposition of pictures of Hayley over the years, Stephany. BUT... Does anyone notice anything?
Okay, the pros have a problem, to an extent, they try to grab odd moments. On the other hand they are the ones who have the special photo shoot opportunities.
What this sequence of pictures tells me is just how lucky we are on this site and just how extraordinarily good are our photographic posters.
ALSO, thank you Hayley for your patience... just how very fortunate we are to have the photo opportunities we are given.
Well done everyone for all the pictures you share with us. You are all up there with the pros... as befits the real professional herself, our Hayley.

Peter,
All that you say is true. This being said, that the fact the the subject of our interest is so photogenic doesnt exactly hurt matters....

Hi Peter, I really agree... thanks for that... at times this earth can seem a dark place, but it is so encouraging to see some people shine. Very inspiring for others. blessings, Peter T PS: I do agree with Jon too

These 2 from 'Abide with Me' Crystal Cath. LA. show another hair arrangement. I don't know what you call this but a lot of girls with long hair use it. Is it called layering??? Tell me somebody. Graeme

Do you mean the haircut? Or what she's done with it (pulled it back)?
From what I can tell she's had her hair "feathered" or "tapered" in the front so it gives more shape/fullness to the face. But the rest looks pretty evenly cut.
She's pulled it up with a bobby pin (or two in this case), but that's just so it stays out of the way!

Graeme Hi Graeme et al, Hayley wore her hair in a somewhat similar style back in 2000 at the 'Talent Quest' in Christchurch (is that right Belinda?) as shown in the pictures below... when Hayley sang a cover of 'A Groovy Kind of Love'... What a classic moment for Hayley! Incidentally, these pictures were sourced from the coverage from Belinda's original TV broadcast video recording. Andrew

Graeme Hi Graeme, "Layering" ? How sweet I can't help you there, I don't even know if there's a name for that in French.

What these later pictures are showing, which is why I suspect Hayley will maintain long har, despite its inconvenience, rather than apply pracitality and have short hair is that she has much more opportunity to play around with it. This is a girl who lives her musical adage of 'trying something new'. A state of continual change is Hayley.

Hi All. This is not strictly another hair style but it still contains the word hair so its on topic. I just like the way Hayley uses one of her ears to throw her tresses over so's her writing hand is unimpeded. This has to be one of my own favourite shots. .......Graeme
