To add to my last post after having discovered Hayley I am probably writing this in the wrong place but could not find a forum that seems appropriate and everyone here will probable think I am an idiot for writing it so I would love to see a forum for How Hayley has changed your life or something like that. Hayley has actually changed my life (for the better). I used to be an impatient so and so especially in peak hour traffic, would curse the guy in front the guy behind and even the guy beside me, NOW....if I’m in peak hour, or on an expressway I just put on one of Hayley’s CD’s and let the world take care of itself, I let people in and even wave to them ( it’s really true), because the calming effect of her magnificent angelic voice just captivates me, If I can’t sleep due to a touch of insomnia, Yep.... I wack on a Hayley CD and let an Angel sing me a lullaby. Why her voice affects me this way, I HAVE NO IDEA....having been an Elvis and Dean Martin fan for most of my life. I have never seen her in concert and probably never will ( I can dream though) and will keep trying to get a DVD of her, The only one I have is Celtic women and you don’t get to see enough of Hayley in that. Her voice has touched me in an extraordinary way that I simply cannot explain. Alan.

I actually found Hayley's myspace spring of '07. Just after Celtic Treasure (US) was released and right before high school graduation^^ I found Celtic Woman at the same time but didn't know that she had been involved with them until I saw "The New Journey" on PBS a few months later.

...everyone here will probable think I am an idiot for writing... Alan. Of course we do, that's why we are all here in the first place! You have been Hayley-wowed. There is no question you belong. Carry on with the chilling out experience. It's a great life Peter S.

Hi Alan ...... everyone here will probable think I am an idiot for writing it so I would love to see a forum for How Hayley has changed your life or something like that. Certainly not! I can't believe that we don't actually already have a thread to cover your suggestion, but we don't! Many of our thoughts and feelings in this area though, can be found in "Memories of meeting Hayley" My own early experiences can be found in my post HERE (you have to scroll down a bit for part 2) Since that post I've seen Hayley many more times and she is just the same lovely person she was then. She has a remarkable memory for names and knows many of "her guys" as she refers to us, by name which is very special in itself. Since then, I have dedicated my 60th birthday to one of Hayley's UNICEF projects and got my friends to donate to that rather than buy presents - it just seemed the natural thing to do and I would never have thought that way a few years ago. Hayley has also helped me make some important decisions about my future and I would say that, without doubt, she is one of the biggest influences in my life and I'm very pleased that she is. Has she changed my life? Not quite yet, but she's working on it! i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifBest wishes Grant

Alan.Welcome, Alan, and thanks for a really touching post. For one who has been indulging (with accomplices) in some linguistic 'play-acting' (in another thread or two), it's good to be reminded of the most important language of all on HWI, 'the language of the heart'. It's a language of many dialects and variations but (to quote someone Comet will recognise): " Though the differences are many, the heart is always one ..... "

I agree whole heartedly......thanks for that Paddy, as stated earlier its just so great to communicate with others that know how her voice can affect you.....and I think another thing about Hayley is that when she sings she seems to smile with her eyes, not just her face...or is that just my imagination.....but her voice WOW...she's got me...

Hi Alan, For all I know Australia means anywhere between next door to me (Oak Flats NSW) and North Coast WA. ie 3800 Kms odd. Anyhow Hayley's voice stopped me dead one Sunday afternoon in Sept. 2005. Her DVD Live from New Zealand was the weapon used on an ABC Concert program. I have never recovered & have met her 5 x since. Once in Australia in Melbourne & the other times in NZ. When I was in my 20's I was always attracted to classical music, orchestral. I also liked musicals with very clear lyrics. Now, whatever Hayley sings I love it. See what you think of this one, Romanza, in Italian sung when she was 14. It's incomplete but I'm crazy about it. (sorry I misspelt the file name) www.mediafire.com/?ihhzjcsylmbGraeme

Hi Alan Hi grant. Smile with her toes .....mmmmm your probably right, BUT she might get a bit upset if you keep looking at her toes..lol.and I would hate to be the one trying to explain why your looking there....good luck lol regards alan Tehe! Well, I once spent a large part of a concert looking at Hayley's toes! I was on the front row at a concert, in Stoke-on-Trent, which was very close to the front of a very high stage. Consequently, Hayley's toes were at my eye level and only about four feet away - they are very nice toes! Best wishes Grant
