Anyway, Martin, that song is not on the US version of Odyssey, so those of us in the US had to get it on some import or another. Mine is on Prayer. My UK version of Odyssey is the Special UK edition. I've forgotten the difference between that and the first UK verison, except for the fact that Dido's Lament and Bridal Ballad are not on the Special. Now I'm wondering what's more special about it... but I suppose that's for another thread. i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gif

No doubt less special than the special Edition of Pure, which included Bridal Ballad! Martin D

I can't be bothered to search this thread to find out which video clips you are referring to. Once I get back to 2007 I lose interest. And Weigenlied is a long way from being my favourite Hayley track anyway. If somebody reposts the information about them, I'll see if I have a copy. I usually download and keep any videos by Hayley.

Hi everyone, If anyone wants us to look for specific things, please be specific, and link to the relevant post or at least state which post it is and what it's called. Time is valuable! However, this time, I did have a look at page one and have found a couple of the Wiegenlied videos, one with poor video, the other with poor audio, also the Lorelei promo clip (low resolution) so I'll dig them out and post them, hopefully by tomorrow night (remind me in a few days time if I forget!) Cheers, Dave

Hi everyone, Just in case you haven't seen this, there is a short video of Hayley recording this track along with "Lorelei" clips on the Japanese Universal Music website. You have to click on Real or VMP at the top of the page. I've made a few screencaps, here : Martin, this is what the three of us are wanting to see. It looks like a making of video and a live\promo clip. Sorry to both of you - Dave and Martin- for not being specific. At least for me, I will remember the request, especially since I am going back thru my collection and getting new items here. Anyways, thank you Dave for taking the time and look forward the the videos! Alicia

Lorelei Trailer! Rediscovered and uploaded! Weird black bars all round, due to the way it was made and dual aspect-ratios used in the video. Currently unlisted on Youtube, should I make it "public", anyone? I'll have a look at the two concert videos tomorrow. Lorelei is a moving blockbuster movie by the way, en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lorelei:_The_Witch_of_the_Pacific_Ocean... Cheers, Dave

Hi Taylor and all, Here is the Wiegenlied video taken from the audience by, I am sorry to say, I know not who...at Bridgewater Hall Manchester on 22 November 2004 during the November tour. Very little if anything was written about this concert in the concert thread at the time, though there was a review in the Manchester press and this is reproduced here on the HWI website. In this video, the sound is good so I have used it instead of the other Wigenlied video I have, taken at some different venue, but the sound is very poor and piercing on that (encoded at a mere 32kbps). The picture does improve after 30 seconds but is then very wobbly, even after de-wobbling it! I also had to lipsync the sound, which was nearly a second out! Anyway here it is: Currently 'Unlisted' on our Youtube channel. Cheers, Dave

Thank you Dave for these two gems! I didn't realise this song was a big thing in Hayley's career - maybe in the Far East at least. You don't hear this song much anymore. Wonder why? And I wonder if Hayley can still sing this? Pretty song! I'll have to dig out Odyssey out with this on it, and look for this single. Thanks again! Alicia

It was a Hayley fan from Bolton who I actually met at the Bridgewater Hall that night. We kept in touch after that Concert and we have met up again a number of times since. I don't like to disclose names without their permission though. I'm forever glad this "Wiegenlied" Video was captured though. It preserves a little of Hayley's live performance from her "Winter Pure Tour". I had met Hayley for the 1st time exactly one week earlier in the Edinburgh Usher Hall on Monday 15th November 2004. I remember being so impressed that I had to buy a ticket to see her again in Manchester on the following Monday for the last official date of the Tour. I still have the Concert Tickets too - I will upload a picture of the Manchester Concert ticket along with the Programme; Wiegenlied CD Single insert etc. in order to keep this post on topic! I will never ever forget Hayley's "Winter Pure Tour"... Truly beautiful. Andrew
