It's a good song. I just got it. Hayley definately has more of a back-up role in the song, but it's cool. I've always liked Mario (maybe because I'm Greek too). I'm glad they recorded something together! Hi Alena, Thanks for this, and well done for being the first of us here to acquire Mario's new album! A little bird tells me that Hayley joins Mario only for a short (but perfectly formed!) segment towards the end of the song... for about a minute - but that she does finish the song, its finale, with Mario. Can you confirm this? Cheers, Dave

Mario Frangoulis has a tremendous voice. Hope the duet is exactly that though, not a solo with just a background singer. I guess we'll see won't we. Graeme

Hayley can be heard for about a minute and a half of the song and finishes the song with Mario. They sing well together but really it's Mario's song rather than Hayley's. He's well worth listening to though! A very welcome surprise Christmas present from a great friend of mine in Piraeus. ('Should have been there in November but 'twas not to be.) Paddy

AHH! SORRY for the late reply. I am on a trip and forgot to check the site. Yes, the rumor you heard is correct...but it's very pretty nonetheless. I got mine from mariofrangoulisandfriends.com It was the best deal I could find. There is a nice picture of Mario and Hayley in the booklet!

Hi Libby, Thank you for posting the link to Mario's MySpace. Although we have heard two or three different clips, I don't think we have heard the entire song before. Yes, they do sound good together and it brings back memories of when Mario supported Hayley during the UK tour in November 2005. It is interesting that they are working together again after all this time even if it is only a duet on one track. Personally, I would love to see Mario tour with Hayley again. Roger

Hello all, This is exciting news! I'm just listening to the song now. I love it when we hear new songs by Hayley! Also, her website's been updated on this, in case anyone was interested. This album is currently Number 1 on the Greek charts. Dori

Oops, sorry Stephany. I think what had happened was that I clicked 'reply' and then came back to writing my post later, so people had written before me. Congratulations Hayley! Great success!!

I had no idea he could post an entire song on it but I'm not complaining Hi Stephany, Yes, I wondered about that too. It is highly unlikely that Mario is running MySpace personally. It is more likely to be an employee of his record company or a trusted fan acting on their behalf. In that case, they can do what they like. If, however, it is run by a fan but not endorsed and supported by the record company, they are likely to object to anything longer than a 30-second clip. Meanwhile, like you, I am not complaining either! Roger

Interesting, Libby. I can understand how he may be very attractive to the ladies! He has a good voice but what strikes home with me is that it depends upon what he is singing. That is, the old chestnut I often quote, Hayley could sing anything and I would listen, no one else does that for me. In his 'Be My Love', although it is years since I heard it, the voice of Mario Lanza is still in my head and I cannot help feel Mario's is the better rendition--and that is allowing for memory of a 78 recording and playback! However, in duet with Hayley he is fine. In a post a little ahead of where I've got to at the moment Roger recalls him touring with Hayley. That is perhaps before I came on board into the swing of Hayley's Schedules planning out my annual diary for me! Or perhaps I just missed that range of concerts. Peter S.

Hello everyone
I'm afraid Mario does very little for me (sorry ladies!) but I do think that Hayley's contribution to "Be My Love" is awesome.
Best wishes Grant

The owner claims that it will soon be made into the official MySpace site. It will be interesting to see what if anything Sony BMG his record company do about the full length songs, YouTube links etc., but i too am not complaining! Cheers, Dave
