Thanks so much for this, Joyce, as I don't have this album, nor the calender. Does anyone know how we can be sure that this is not the new RoD Best of album?

Hi Dori I bought the original version of this and it didn't have a calendar and it does say in the text that it is a 're-release' I'm guessing that UCJ are cashing in on the success of 'Hayley Sings Japanese Songs' by having something "new" for the Christmas market. I would hope we'll have some artwork soon - lets hope they use a different picture for the album cover  Best wishes Grant |

We have to keep an eye on this CD, just as Grant says.
Wait for more details.
Possibly it has to do with marketing. The only difference is that this cd has a different code/number.UCCL 9059.(maybe because it is a SHM-cd)
The original release has the number UCCL1110.
I remember that theHong Kong version of Odyssey, was followed by a Limited release with DVD and calendar, so everthing is possible.We have to keep in mind, that is was only in Hong Kong , where calenders were included!!!
( I think there are enough pictures,that can be used for a calender)
I try to find out more.

At Cdjapan I followed this link - Click here to view Japanese information about this disc (Opens new browser window) and when I put all those Japanese characters in Google translate I got this mess... The track listing (if accurate), like you said, includes the three new songs and several songs from HSJS plus the duets with Blake and Russel Watson (this one I presume to be the version included in Russel's album OUTSIDE IN!). But it really seems like a "Very Best Version" made to the Japanese market, as RoD is to the UK market, and has nothing to do with "Amazing Grace - The Best of Hayley Westenra" album, hence the different UCCL number, I presume! December 5, the six-day tour to Japan in two nights for as long as the Hayley's visit will commemorate the new machine and best album, best ever, the Pure Voices - Haley (UCCL-9059 tax cost 2,800 yen) , Announced on December 3. Thank you Paulo, I don't think we knew about that one. It looks as though it may be the Japanese equivalent of River of Dreams although it isn't actually called that. As it contains one track that I don't have ('Where Do We Go From Here'), I have ordered it.
