Hi all, Today I received my copy of "The Best of Hayley Westenra" from Japan.  My question is: Is "Time to say goodbye" the same version as at "Walking in the Air"-CD ? I think Hayley's voice is a littele bit different like today. Many greetings, Lothar Hi Lothar, Sorry, I don't know the answer to your question. I am not aware that Hayley has recorded that song at any other time, so it may be the same but, unless somebody has both albums, we can't be sure. Roger |

Hello Lothar, Roger and everybody! I've just compared the clip of 'Time To Say Goodbye' from the Japanese album HERE (track 14) with HWI's clip from 'Walking In The Air' HERE (click on CD icon), and Hayley's vocals are quite different. At first I thought the backing sounded remarkably similar, but after listening to both clips several times I'm convinced the Decca version is a completely new recording. Best Wishes, Richard |

Although I've had this album for some time, I've only just got round to playing it - In fact it's playing right now. I think this will be the album I will play to people who I want to hear a varied cross section of Hayley's work, it is a truly beautiful album, particularly as it includes favourites of mine like Wiegenlied, Bridal Ballad, The Water is Wide and now Time to Say Goodbye!! Type in Hayley Westenra and click on "go" the CD you want is Item 15 on page 1. Click on "used and new" Musicjapan is at the top of this list and offer the best price.
