With the possible exception of Grant, I doubt if anyone will be remotely interested in this but I will post it anyway! Hi Roger and thanks! I know you only do these little housekeeping exercises to fool me and it generally works! Best wishes Grant

Hi everyone
I'm not sure if this is the right place for this post so mods - please move it as needs be.
I seem to remember that at the beginning of this year the number of members here was around 225-230, and now there are nearly 290. Maybe 60-odd doesn't seem a large increase, but in percentage terms it's around 25-30%.
This seems to me great news, for both Hayley and HWI. We may not be up there with Coldplay, or even with Leona Lewis, but for an artist of Hayley's genre I think this is certainly a move forward.
If only there were some car stickers so everyone stuck behind me on the M3 every morning knew about HWI...
Kind regards
Colin

Hi Colin, Your memory serves you well. On 1st January this year, we had 232 members so the increase is very pleasing. Equally pleasing is the fact that almost 60 per cent of our members have logged in within the last 30 days. That, I suspect, is a far higher proportion than a good many forums. We like to see members logging in frequently. Even if they don't post, it is nice to know they are around. I look forward to a huge increase in our membership levels during 2009! Roger

Hi Colin,
Perhaps someone could make those stickers up... I'd certainly plant an HWI/Hayley sticker on the back of my Jetta.

Hello Peter, Colin and everybody! That's a great idea for our artistic members. Who's going to take up the challenge? Richard

Most definitely not me! We want stickers that draw attention to Hayley, not push them away i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifI just had an idea... you know here in america we have those things that can plug into the back of empty truck hitches. Maybe someone can may a Hayley version of one of those i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gif Another idea would be a sticker that says if this car is swerving back and forth in its lane because the driver is probably singing along with a Hayley Westenra CD Hello Peter, Colin and everybody! That's a great idea for our artistic members. Who's going to take up the challenge? Richard

Hi Roger and everyone On 1st January this year, we had 232 members so the increase is very pleasing. Equally pleasing is the fact that almost 60 per cent of our members have logged in within the last 30 days. The other thing that strikes me is the level of contribution from a large percentage of the members. When I reached 500 posts (not sure exactly when as I was on 'dial-up' when I joined - but it was almost certainly during the first half of 2007) I was only the fifth or sixth Maestro - now there are 22 of us! Best wishes Grant

Hi Grant, In saying there are 22 Maestros, you are not including the staff and honorary members who have also posted in excess of 500 times. If you add those in, there are currently 34. Roger

Fair comment Roger, but I didn't include them in my earlier figure as it was only possible for me to calculate based on the 'ordinary bods' like me! Best wishes Grant

Hi Grant,
You can work it out from the list of members if you go to "Top Posters".
Coincidentally, 22 is also the number of "double maestros" or 1000 Club members (of which I am the newest). But that figure does include staff members.
Perhaps this should be in the "Fun with Numbers" thread!!!

You can work it out from the list of members if you go to "Top Posters". Only the current number Martin, which Roger has already provided. I don't think there's any way of telling if any staff members were under 500 posts when I reached that number back in 2007. Best wishes Grant
