Hello Dave! The search engine is still working up to 14th June, but it won't find anything at all if you only look back 7 days. Congratulations on 4,000 posts, Grant! i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifRichard

Hello Dave! The search engine is still working up to 14th June, but it won't find anything at all if you only look back 7 days. Hi Richard, Thanks but it's not much consolation, sadly. The last 7 days covers about 97% of all i ever search for and the last day about 95% (recent stuff beyond the Last 30 Posts) Words under 4 characters long are usually included in 90% of the rest (and get removed). Cheers, Dave

I reminded ProBoards about an hour ago.
I deliberately didn't do so this morning because of the time difference. By the time they would have come online, my message would already have been deeply buried.

In an attempt to reduce the difficulties caused by the failure of the Search button and ProBoards apparent reluctance to fix it, we have now increased the "View Recent Posts" facility to 50.
Because of this, please ensure that the size limit of photographs (100 Kb each) is applied.

Roger Thanks Roger, This is a great help as many days average around the 50 Posts mark I won't miss as much, I still get pictures of airplanes if I use search

Hi Roger, this will certainly help However it is very disappointing that it has not been fixed after all this time. Graham

So am I, Graham, and that's putting it mildly. I sent them another e-kick about an hour ago.

Here is the latest response from ProBoards. I have explained the problem yet again. Other than that, NO COMMENT. Roger

Hello Roger and Graham! I just tried searching for the word 'business' which I posted this morning, and the search engine couldn't find it. Richard

Hi Richard,
The reason it doesn't find 'business' is because it is in a post made since 14th June. It is therefore not an indication that something else is wrong.
Here is the latest response from ProBoards which came in overnight:
The second line had been edited in a few minutes after the first.
Fingers crossed, everybody!
Roger

...looks as though it may be quite a serious problem, seeing how Proboards haven't been able to fix it yet! That doesn't necessarily follow, Grant. Apparently, the guy who is most likely to be able to fix this is away until tomorrow. Hopefully, all will be resolved then or shortly afterwards. Roger Hi Roger, I am glad you used the word 'Hopefully' above. Now just what is the date today Graham

Have you applied any more e-kicks recently Are any more forums affected or is it just us I now have to go through the whole Board as it is more than 50 post since I looked, before I went to work Is there anything more violent than an e-kick we can give Sorry for all the questions, but it is such a nuisance !
