Hi Roger and everyone I have just experienced a different version of this problem! Having been out all day, I logged in about 9.30pm and noticed almost 40 posts since I last logged in about 7.00am. This time I used the 'Search' function and selected '40'. I didn't actually notice whether or not it gave me 40, but it didn't give me the latest 10! which seem to have been posted between 6pm and when I logged on. I only noticed the problem when I did the 'last 30' search to review my own recent posts. Best wishes Grant

I had this same occurrence when the servers were offline from that fire. Hopefully we can see those posts soon! Joe

Hi All, The search function is even more annoying. Last 30 seems OK (back to 10.47pm Saturday. Try anything else and it goes back to 6.14pm.Saturday i.e. you cant get to see posts between 6.14 and 10.47pm by my usual method. (at 8.56 a.m. Sunday) Anyone else in the same problem Graham

I have only found it because of my last post in this thread ! This means we are going to miss many posts if we don't log on very frequently Graham

Hello everybody! I just tried searching for the last 100 posts. The first result (latest) was timed at 6:14 yesterday evening, and scrolling down it stopped at the top of result #89. The search engine has definitely failed its MOT! Luckily I never use it for that purpose. Richard

I have reported both problems (Last 30 and the Seach button) to ProBoards Support.

I have just tried '45' and '100' and, although I get the correct number of posts, the most recent post showing is STILL Milewalker (Jon's) post at 6.14pm yesterday. I will PM Roger! Best wishes Grant

Hello Roger and everybody.
I just posted a test message on the AAI Forum and then searched for the last 50 posts. The search engine found my post immediately, so we don't have the same problem there. I've now deleted that message.

Thanks Richard. It may well be a problem with this particular server, or a few of them but not all of them.
Nothing back fron ProBoards yet other than a message asking me to check back later!

Hello Grant, Oh dear, this search bug has gotten worse. I suggest that when we access the forum, look at the left side for the 'new post' icon. Then look for the post times that may occured since your last visit. When you are satisfied that you've read them all, return to the welcome screen, and click the 'mark as read" button. This is located just above the info centre. Hope this helps for the time being... Joe

Hello Joe and everybody! I just tried searching for the last 10 posts. The search engine still doesn't find any posts made after 6:14pm BST on Saturday evening, so it's worse than your average sat-nav! Richard

Hi Richard and Joe Tehe! Yes, the search engine has certainly thrown a 'wobbly' looks as though it may be quite a serious problem, seeing how Proboards haven't been able to fix it yet! Thanks for the advice Joe, I'll try the method you suggest. Best wishes Grant

...looks as though it may be quite a serious problem, seeing how Proboards haven't been able to fix it yet! That doesn't necessarily follow, Grant. Apparently, the guy who is most likely to be able to fix this is away until tomorrow. Hopefully, all will be resolved then or shortly afterwards. Roger
