Hi Joe, Thanks for sorting that out, I was a bit busy yesterday! Do you think we should change this thread title to something like "Forum Problems" or similar? Cheers, Dave Sounds good...I changed the title to 'Forum issues / errors to report'. If anyone comes across any unusual messages whilst posting etc., kindly report them in this thread.

The image server has now been kicked and the icons have returned. Richard

Hi all,
As you know, to help members find recent posts on the forum's main page, we have added custom colours to the word "today" (orange) and "yesterday" (violet) to boards containing posts from those times.
I see today that, for some reason, only one instance is correct. We are rectifying this issue.
Best wishes, Joe

Hi all,
Question, is it normal to not be able see graphics or pictures when viewing the forum after log in? After I log in, I see [image] instead of the actual image or emotion icons. I see [home] instead of home button at the top menu. After I log out and just viewing as a guest I can see all the graphics perfectly. Both my Firefox and Chrome are behaving the same way. I am using Windows 8.
Thanks,

Please me know if you are still experiencing any further issues, Leo.

Perhaps it was as Joe described -Rory

I've been noticing the same issue for 2 days now. Maybe the problem will go away with time. I'll let you know if this problem persist in the next few days.
Thanks,

It is something I have seen from time to time. I suspect it has a lot to do with a bottleneck somewhere. Could be a peak in the load on Proboards servers, or something somewhere else. It seems to coincide with slow access for me. So it looks like something somewhere is busy.

I log in as me in one and as a normal guest in another one. I can see full graphics whenever I am viewing as guest. All the graphics are gone as soon as I start viewing as a member. I switched between the two and clear the cache between each try and I am getting the same results. It seems like I am getting different server responds depending on who I logged in has. This is strange.

lol.. I figure it out :je... under my profile and account preferences there is a box asking do you want to see images. I must have unintentionally click "NO" when I was playing around with some of the settings.
Thanks all,

Hi all,
Strangely, I am this afternoon seeing little image placement boxes here instead of images, for many images/icons hosted on our main website. Many of the little menu icons, and images in the scrolling box at the top of the forum index page are missing, yet my own avatar (also hosted there) displays OK.
The HWI website is not down, and I can even click through to it or other (undisplayed) images containing links.
If anyone else sees this, and if it still persists in say one hour or more from when I post this, would one or two of you mind mentioning it here, to help my trouble-shooting?
Cheers, Dave
EDIT - Fixed.
