Hey guys!!
This new addition is a real eye opener. Looking at the statistics a few moments ago, there have been 46 members on line in the last 24 hours, or, put another way almost 25%.
Awesome!!

Hello Grant! Many thanks for the feedback. Currently there have been 47 members online during the last 24 hours, but this figure does not include any members who select the 'invisible' option in their profiles. Best Wishes, Richard

Hi Grant,
Further to what Richard has said, it also doesn't include guests of whom there are a significant number every day. The true number of *users* might be something like two or three times the figure displayed.

Hi everyone I also have found being able to see who has been on line over the past 24 hours quite an eyeopener As you say Roger, guests are not counted into this When I think about it though, I log on to the site most days myself and I would say thats true of most of the "regular" members, if I may use that term. It just confirms yet again how many loyal members, or should I say friends, we have and the fact that it really is such a great forum to be part of. Well done everyone Best wishes Mark

Hi everyone,
I look in almost every day but do not log in when at work or on computers other than my own. So most days my name would not appear even though I try to keep up with all the posts.

Hello all, It is a pleasure to see so many of us members checking out the forum on a regular, if not a daily, basis. From the few days that the new daily member tally feature was implemented, we learned that as much as 30 per cent of the members of this forum will log in each day. Amazing! That only proves our dedication to Hayley! And thanks to our wonderful member friends for sharing part of your day with us. It doesn't matter if you make 30 posts a day or just look at the last 30 posts, you are all doing your part. Thanks again, Joe

I am not always "signed in" on the site either, as I use the computer at my job and at school. It is interesting to see all the names of those who have signed in on any particular day!!

'Tis eerie being the only member online at the present moment! 4 guests also.
Must be bed-time!

Their support forum is on the new version, so if you or Dave or anyone wants to have a look at it. support.proboards.com/Joe

The list of "users inline today" is a little misleading, because it includes anyone who's permanently signed in, not just those who took the effort to visit the site in that 24-hr period. I'm sure if we tallied only those individuals who actually signed in afresh each day the number would be noticeably smaller.

Hi Steve M, This 'Users Online Today' feature is an add-on code for admins of Proboards forums. The member count given is generally correct; it's not perfect. Each member having to sign-on daily into the forum manually shouldn't affect the total. The software update will keep a better count of 'Active Users In The Past 24 Hours'. If you want a sneak peek, click on the Proboards Support Forum and scroll down to almost the foot of the page. Joe

I think I've just discovered something interesting about this statistic! Which, incidentally, is currently showing "54 members on line in the last 24 hours" (more than 25% of members!!) Interestingly though, it does not appear to show users who have just logged in for the first time in 24 hours, and who are currently on line. I first noticed that this afternoon when 'Bullies' was on line but not showing below. Now 'Gerrit' is on line (Hi Gerrit!) but is not showing in the list below. Thought you'd all like to know that - going now!! Best wishes Grant

Hi Belinda Yes, I think you're right. Gerrit has logged off but has not yet appeared on the list below. Best wishes Grant P.S. Gerrit has now appeared on the list, but someone else has gone so it's stayed at 54
