Hi Tinmeigut, So you did get to see Connie  Thanks to your and your friend Keith for the wonderful photos. They give a better idea of the surroundings and the number of people who came to watch than the Youtube video's. Some great shots of Connie too. Connie really is something special for her age! Not only does she sing with near perfect pitch and is confident in front of the camera, she also remembers the words of the songs! My daughter Siobhan (one of the sub-boards) had a also sweet voice at that age, but could never remember the words or look at the audience when performing! She has always been shy and is only now (at 14 yrs) giving eye contact when performing. I hope they don't push Connie too far, too soon. It would be a shame if she 'burnt out' before she reaches puberty! If they get her a good voice teacher, she can learn how to keep singing beautifully for years! Sheila www.siobhanowen.com |

Hi All,
Following up from my post in the Faryl Smith thread, I am now also posting similar thoughts here. Connie Talbot is NOT an up and coming Hayley. Connie Talbot is the one and only unique Connie Talbot.
I think we should completely stop to publish singers as the next version of ..... We can leave that to the ugly English tabloids. We should not stoop to their level by trying to put labels on new singers.

:rollin My Connie Talbot Somewhere Over The rainbow Special Edition CD arrived from AmazonUK today. I love it. I really like I Have A Dream, You Raise Me Up and all the other songs. I hope she releases more Cds in the future.

Sorry you can not see them I will post a few here instead, the reason we set it to members only is to try and keep track on where the pictures end up, members can loose their membership if they are found to use the images without permission. There are 48 in this thread alone, so it would be worth joining just for that! Hi Steve, How would a "OK" do! Thanks very much for "opening" the photos for me.
