Thanks for the link Libby!!! At first I wasn't too sure about the song tbh...but I've heard it several times now...and it's definitely grown on me quickly! I can't wait to get this new album...I only discovered Josh Groban by accident not too long ago...and i've got 3 of his albums now....I think he's released more but I'm not sure where to find them... I love his voice...especially on songs like You Raise Me Up- which is probably my most favourite song in the world... i could listen to it all day...tbh though i think this new song is coming a close second now!... best wishes Sing

He's only really had three real studio albums. Josh Groban, Closer and Awake. But he also has a Christmas album (Noel), two Live albums and a Best of Collection. But that's being really basic with his discography. Has plenty of singles, diffierent editions, soundtrack contributions, special releases and so on. I keep to the basics, though.

Actually, he has 3 Live albums! One for each of his studio album releases (excluding Noel). Also, there was an exclusive album released by Hallmark for Valentine's day in 2007. It had love songs from his first 2 albums, plus 2 new songs, With You and My Heart Was Home Again. With You is one of his best songs! It's really too bad it was released on a limited edition album. It also had Mi Morena, which was on special editions of Closer, and also on his Live at the Greek DVD. Okay, here's a list of his releases as far as I am aware: Josh Groban Josh Groban: Live in Concert Closer With You (exclusive Hallmark album) Live at the Greek (Closer tour) Awake Awake Live (Awake tour) Noel The Collection (UK release) ...and Illuminations, released Nov. 15!

Oh, and Sharon can have it the same day, so she can brag, too! I only have to wait about 4 days (it'll be the 11th for me when you get it, probably). I do wonder, though, why Australia gets it on the 12th, but New Zealand has to wait till the 22nd, like the UK. Weird.

Another song released on Itunes today! Listen to L'Ora Dell'Addio here: www.joshgroban.com/Finally, the voice I came to love... but the tune didn't really do much for me yet.

Here's a new interview by TVNZ! I'm not sure if he was really in NZ, though. And we kind of get an explanation of why his songs aren't quite the belt-it-out style we've been used to. I kind of like that the songs are just nice songs, and great because he wrote them, not just because he blew you away with his vocals. I still don't have the album. I'm pretty sure I'm getting it for Christmas. Otherwise, I'm probably not getting much. That's what happens when you get "old". Anyway, I can still listen to a few songs while I'm waiting.

I don't like the album. Not that it's a bad album - I'm sure it's great for those that have the taste for it, but it's not for me. There's not one song I like, other than 'Hidden Away' and I just find that one listenable. I appreciate it's a change of direction - I haven't gone off him or anything. I'm incredibly excited to see him tomorrow! XD

Josh's relative lack of success in the UK (and Europe, it seems) is a bit of a mystery, which I can't explain and from his BBC radio interview an hour ago, neither can he. It was an interesting interview on BBC Radio Five Live (Richard Bacon, 2pm, Josh came on about 2:10) and will be on BBC iPlayer later.
I remember that for his last album releases in the UK, Josh spent some time here promoting them but not on the scale of Michael Buble, who has now made it here in a big way (no. 1 million selling albums, X-Factor appearances, the lot). Josh is here at the moment but still, he hasn't "cracked the UK", with his new album predicted to enter the chart in the top 30, possibly the top 20 but nothing higher. "We keep on chipping away" he said, which I think says it all.
His best performing album so far in the UK is Awake, back in 2007, which reached no. 17, so it would appear that his fan base here is somewhat smaller than Hayley's. As I said, it's a bit of an enigma and I for one can't explain it, neither can he!

I actually like Higher Window a little better than Hidden Away. Speaking of which, I was surprised at how well he sang that on GMA last week. He didn't have one off note, even in the falsettos! i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifThe other 2, the Portuguese and Italian ones that were released on Itunes, didn't excite me quite as much. So I was getting worried I wouldn't like the album so much, either. I still don't have the album yet, so I can't speak for the other songs yet. However, this has gotten me looking forward even more to Hayley's album.
