Hi Dori! Great report from Paul's concert! I loved the photos Wow...glad you spent some time with Elizabeth Marvelly too! By the way...my digital cable TV has music channels, one of which is Opera. Paul Potts's song was played last night! The title was "Mi Manera" (an Italian version of "My Way") from his CD "One Chance". Joe

Hi Jpe,
He didn't perform that during the concert, but he's such a lovely guy. So down to earth. I really, really enjoyed the concert. Look at Elizabeth's page where I've posted a report and more photos just on her part.

Hello musicgal, Welcome to our forum! No doubt you will find the big Hayley-fan family an enjoyable group of people to socialize with! I've never heard of the Three Graces, and they seem a peculiar group, but no doubt their harmony together must be fascinating. Did you enjoy the concert? I know I did here in Auckland. Dori

Hello musicgal and welcome to the forum. The discussion to which Richard was referring is now completed and I would merely request that any future posts relating specifically to the Three Graces should be made to their own thread HERE. This thread is purely for Paul Potts but may include the girls' appearance with him if appropriate. Thanks, Roger

Hi everyone, I'm not sure if this was shown in Britain, but I just watched a documentary on television called "Paul Potts: By Royal Command", and it was a fantastic documentary about how Britain's Got Talent started, and how he blew the world away. I was shocked on how harshly the opera world criticized him - why are people looking for perfection?? It was not very nice. But it was a lovely documentary and it really shows what a lovely star he really is. And what a lovely person, of course! I really enjoyed his concert, and I love his music. I hope he keeps on being big. Dori

He had long dreamed of becoming an opera singer, but a series of setbacks had put his confidence at an all-time low. Then, his amazing rendition of Nessun Dorma propelled him on to win the show, and thus launched a career that has so far seen his debut album go to number one in 13 countries. This film tells his story, from the Carphone Warehouse to performing in the Royal Variety Performance. Preceded by.....Britain's Got Talent Final 2007 ITV2 Monday, May 26th, 2008 4:30pm to 6:00pm Ant and Dec present the final of the nationwide talent show open to all acts of all ages. After a week of highs and lows, six acts have made it through to the grand final, where they now compete for a huge cash prize and the chance to perform in front of the Queen at this year's Royal Variety Performance. Paul Potts is competing on the AGT, the Champions show. He made it into the next round, singing Caruso. I've definitely heard it sung better, but it was still good.
Unfortunately, none of this is live, and the viewers can't vote. Apparently it was all completed a few months ago, and some FB people say they already know who won. So that kind of takes the fun out of it a little. Also, only 2 acts out of 10 from each show can advance to the finals, and one is a judge's golden buzzer. Susan Boyle was the first to earn the golden buzzer from Mel B the first night. She was exceptional.
