I just found out about this AMAZING young singer! She's 12, and her name is Estephany. Just unbelieveable. Crystal listened to her and we both agree that she is the best young singer we've ever heard - and that means a ton coming from Crystal!! So please check her out on the following link: www.myspace.com/estephanyperezcruzHugs everyone, Your Tashi P.S I actually love her "Ave Maria." It's so beautiful, that I don't care how many times it has been done! So go check it out!

Her Ave Maria is just so beautiful. Now, based on Hayley's rise to fame, this young lady should be enjoying an international concert tour within the next four years!!!! Thanks for finding her for us - perhaps someone should tell Steve Abbott!! Grant

Hey Grant I think that's a brilliant idea!! Estephany has a voice that deserves to be heard, and I believe she will get better and better with time. What I love is that her range is incredible, her phrasing, her dymanics, the quality of her tone and still there is that sweetness about it. Really amazing. But I need to go before Dad comes in, lol. Please everyone give the link a visit! *hugs

Please everyone give the link a visit! *hugs Yes, yes, yes BUT... If it is there as it seems to be, it will mature, become better and build. Let the girl have a childhood. One only has to say Charlotte/Hayley to realise the difference: - three years make (Charlotte internationally at 12 Hayley at 15)
- the family background, maturity and knowledge
- the girl herself and strength of character, most importantly a sense of self-awareness, maturity of spirit
Two totally different people, two totally different results, one uniformity--the ability to sing. In particular, while experience adds to the maturing progress, and while it has been fascinating sharing her parent's own wonderment at their offspring's development, compare the Hayley now with the Hayley on first exposure. With Hayley there was a uniqueness of voice that suited the young girl she was and has (and is) maturing beautifully into the young woman she is. This other voice is mature beyond the body and I don't think would sit well in public exposure. As Hayley has been pacing her songs to the maturing pace of her voice, so this is a voice that needs to wait until the body has caught up with the voice's depth and range. Possibly, also, caught up with the personality she has not yet had a chance to explore. Steady the helm! Peter S.

Well yes Charlotte Church is a bad example of what could happen. But there are also some very good examples out there! Just look at Billy Gilman, he sold over 2 million copies of his debut CD when he was just 11 and two more Gold albums followed in the next year. He was on every TV show, and was touring constantly, and was a huge star. I think the difference was how much he loved singing, and how he himself wanted to do it. From the interviews I’ve heard from him he didn’t ‘miss out’ on childhood or just playing around, because music meant everything to him. Now he’s 18, and he’s not out there drinking like CC. He seems to be a really nice guy, and especially caring when coming to those less fortunate than him. He was actually friends with Charlotte (having recorded with her) here's a little snipit from the country weekly mag he was in, "Billy has been up close the torrid tales of teenage stars who flamed out early. 'I just shake my head, because I knew a lot of them, and they went on such a downward spiral,' he says. 'I feel bad - and it really has to with the family. It all depends on how you were brought up and those kids weren't brought up right.'" And I have to agree. I also believe that if God is not a part of your life, it makes failure even easier. So it really depends on the child. Estephany may not be ready, and may not even want to pursue an international career at this point and maybe doesn’t even want to be a singer when she grows up. But I think the option couldn’t hurt her either! *hugs P.S I wish someone would moderate Hayley's official forum. Someone left an absolutely horrid post there about Estephany. Just cruel and inappropriate. How can I get the mods to remove it?

Hi Folks, Re The Official forum, I have noticed a few slightly "Off" posts on the forum. I tried to contact the Moderator, or at least I think I sent a message to the moderator about one or two "iffey" posts. The posts are still there, I think the captain and crew have jumped ship and left the site to drift, It gets extremely sluggish at times, but that may be our connection to it. Maybe someone with higher connections could get Decca's people to look at it for a defragmentation or something technical like that.
Thanks .

Hello Tashi and Comet! Estephany certainly has an amazing voice, although it's a little too high-pitched for my taste at the moment. She will probably sound much better in a few years time. I saw the offending comment this morning and thought it was quite uncalled for, so I have sent the culprit a PM asking him to remove it. I just hope he sees it, because it's easy to miss the notification on that forum. Best Wishes, Richard

Well, I posted a public response there, not quite realising the discussion that was raised here. I'll better keep an eye on that thread, just in case the author decides to remove his post - then mine wouldn't make much sense . Having said that, I must say though that Estephany's voice at its current state of development in my view isn't quite ready for being marketed. I think it needs to become a bit more "robust". All in all, I think it is a very unique voice with an "ethereal" character. Gerrit

PM Roger, Dave, Richard if you want to object to a post, I suspect it has been sorted. I've only dropped in for a very quick passing before getting lost for three or four days!

The bad post on the official site made me realise there are worst people than me on these sites so I've come back. I appolgise to admin.
I think the official forum is a lot less laid back, that comment was disgusting however, but people can be like that.

Welcome back Jon It's the fact that we have Rules and Admins here that make HWI what it is, the best Hayley forum by far. I am sorry that you have had to experience these things on the official forum. Still your back now, so enjoy! Steve H

I have to say honestly that despite the odd cruel post by someone on the Official site, it does give a bit more freedom for younger people. Thanks for the welcome back though. i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gif I was waiting for someone to beg me to come back but I couldn't wait any longer.
