Hmmm....I wonder if they thought there would be no contest, and it would look really embarassing for Katherine Jenkins, Sarah Brightman (Whoa!!!, btw) and company to be invited, but no awards left to hand out after Hayley sweeps 'em all ! Of course, we have the "All Angels" to pull for in place of Hayley!!! You go, Charlotte, Melanie, Laura, and Daisy!! Is it just me, or do they look like they belong there a bit more than the others?? They certainly have style, and if I might say, are rather gorgeous themselves. I've always preferred White to Red or "shredded" Teal !! Best wishes, gang, Eric P.S. I have a feeling we don't have to worry about Ms. Hayley ever trying something like that....I figure she has a bit more dress sense and well, "common sense."

Wow!! The girls look fantastic! Go All Angels! You deserve to win if only for looking so classy (not to mention the fact that your album is superb).
Katherine is proving that she looks sexy even when she dresses down. Imagine how much better she'd look had she worn an evening gown.
Sarah's shoes remind me of the fact that in medieval Venice it was the practice for prostitutes to advertise themselves by wearing platform shoes. They were brought back as part of the '70s style and were ugly then and are ugly now. Nothing ruins the effect of a lovely woman's legs than to accentuate them with shoes that look as heavy as anvils and as stylish as two-by-fours.

STOP PRESS
Only 12 months to go until Classical Brit Awards 2008 and to see Hayley receive Best Album and Best Singer awards!!
We can only hope and do our best when the voting starts early next year.
Hopefully, as Dave has mentioned previously a Special Edition release of Treasure in the UK at the end of this year would certainly boost Hayley's chances.

Hello everyone, The Classical Brits was excellent last night and I was particularly impressed by the performances from All Angels and Lang Lang. Having a top World pianist there was a pleasant change from the usual instrumentalists and vocalists and when he performed the final movement of Tchaikowsy's Piano Concerto no. 1, the piece that cemented my interest in classical music over 40 years ago, he almost blew me off my seat. Wow! I have just posted my first photo of All Angels singing "Sancte Dei" (Nimrod) in the AAI forum and it can be seen hereOK OK, here's the group shot but if you click the above link, you will see that one photo becomes five! i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifCheers, Dave

Hi Dave, Many thanks for your great report. Speaking of Lang Lang, an article was published today about him in a Chinese magazine and he mentionned Hayley so I thought it might be interesting to post it here. Best wishes, Stephany

I just love these quotes from Laura:
"After the show we go to the party with family and friends and congratulate Paul McCartney on his award.
Friday "Back to school after lunch and tennis lessons later."
How surreal and unpretentious is that!
