Glad that the Sarah fans in Mexico are getting the opportunity to see Sarah and now Mario. From a business perspective though, I have to say that it is a lot of money (and work) to put on only 3 shows in North America. I wonder if she will add shows before these Mexico shows. The question is will she go North or South? PS I don't know if your on her mailing list, but they mentioned more dates will be announced soon after the information relating to pre-sales.

Well, some consider Mexico to be part of Central America, though in school I did learn that it was part of North America. I would guess the next dates will be South America, though. She seems to be heading to the places that she's most popular. Speaking of which, based on daily tweet mentions, Hayley is also very popular in Central & South America. Which begs the question why she has never had a single concert there! I've also been seeing some tweets from Africa... and not just South Africa, IF that. Today I saw Zimbabwe. Last week, I saw one from a young woman in Nigeria who is also a singer. I've seen some other countries, too. Not that she could tour there, but I'm sure a show in South America would sell out. I mean, Sarah's been there, Josh has been there, so obviously this type of music is popular enough there, too.

Of course Libby, that depends on whether or not Hayley is still interested in promoting her career. I would hope that she is, but the signals are not good. But if Sarah can still do it, I'm sure Hayley could too.

Alicia, to answer your question about Harem, I'm having another listen, and I do like it a lot. And despite missing Hayley's lyrics in WYNK, I do like the music in between the lyrics. Oh, and guess what! B & N recently had a 40% off coupon! Something I've never seen them do! The biggest discount I've ever gotten was 25 or 30%. So, yes, I had to take advantage of this discount of a lifetime! So I made sure to order something expensive! I ordered Sarah's Live from Las Vegas DVD! Completely hassle-free this time! And Martin, despite my cynicism lately, I do believe Hayley is interested in making music and having a career. I just think things are slowing down the process at the moment, whatever those things may be; record company getting in the way, personal issues, etc. However, the recent Ireland hints have caused hope to spring anew in me again, but at the lack of news lately, I have doubts as to when we'll ever see/hear whatever she's been up to. I already feel disappointed that whatever she did in Air studios in May still has not been revealed to us. Not only what it sounds like, but what it's for to begin with. But, if that music was all for nothing, you wouldn't think she would have done it and made a point of posting about it.

New concert announcement from Sarah! Turkey on Oct. 9th! No word on whether Mario will be along or not. I didn't think he was done touring in Greece till October sometime, so he might not be available. Oh well, I'm not going to Turkey to see anybody, so not a problem for me.

Sarah just posted this on instagram: http://instagram.com/p/BNzdOk6layr I guess maybe the tour won't be for a while yet. I'm concerned I won't have a single concert in 2017! Then again, I don't think I had any in 2015. I guess since I had 4 this year, I got used to having lots of things to go to.

It looks like they are serious. My bet is a fall/winter tour in USA next year. That is when she usually tours the States anyway. So it's a sit and wait game.

I was just about to post that, too! Very excited. Whose album do you think will come out first? Sarah's or Hayley's? I mean, judging by Sarah's posts, it would appear that Sarah is farther ahead. But then, Hayley did post a pic of herself at a recording mic in a studio recently... not the first time she's done that in the last 2 years or so, but come on, by now it has to be serious! Not to mention all the songwriting she's done, and the fact that 2 of her originals have been performed several times in public in the last 6 months! Also, did you see that tweet from a friend of hers I posted in the Huawei concert thread? He said something about "with the release of your new album in the new year"...! He kind of seems to know what he's talking about, and I guess I'm clinging to the desperate hope that it is true! I at least hope she starts serious recording in the new year, so the album would at least be out sometime in 2017!

I at least hope she starts serious recording in the new year, so the album would at least be out sometime in 2017! I did see that lovely post in the Huawei thread! Have not seen the videos yet. Glad to see that Hayley is promoting her first 2 singles with the handful of shows she did this year. A positive sign to say the least. That is the only negative thing about these current shows I don't like is that we did not get any solid comment from Hayley about where she stands with the new album. And the tour that will follow. I understand that she is probably getting tired of that question to avoid hurting our feelings, but she comes out 2/3 times a year at most to do any interviews, etc so it's not too much to ask. That is the only solid updates we really get from her. Besides her pictures on twitter....but there we have to make heads and tails of the situation. However, the fact that Hayley needs to release new music before she does any more touring is evident. And I am sure she is well aware that she is losing the patience of her fans for new material. And her record label if she still has one! Read the post about Rebecca contacting her, and the discussion if she is independent or not. So she is stuck and under pressure. The new album has to come out next year! When? I don't know.... My guess is sometime in 2nd QTR (April/May/June). She can't compete in the Christmas season -no offense- and she needs time to really promote around the world when her album is released there. And not competing with the big names for TV slots, etc. So 2nd QTR is the best time for Hayley, and it gives her a chance to start her tour in the fall. That's my prediction. Hope anyway. Sarah? I would think Summer/Fall of next year. But I really don't know. Sounds like Sarah has picked her songs and album's direction, practiced them with her voice coach, and now needs to just record them. That can be quick or take a while depending on how much prep work Sarah has done beforehand. One thing is for sure, Sarah tells ya about 3 months out when the album is dropping. Her website will change including a new music video, etc. So it should be interesting.....

Well, as I mentioned in the concert thread, I wouldn't consider next Christmastime as part of the coming new year... well, of course, it's part of the coming year, but by the time it gets there, it's almost the NEXT new year! So, I think (and hope!) your guess is probably right. Because I do not expect it to be out at the very beginning of the year... though, an announcement would certainly be nice! You never know, she might surprise us! She surprised us with her Greener Lands video, so maybe in the near future she'll surprise us with maybe another video, or, even better, an album announcement. Or both, maybe even at the same time. Maybe it'll be recorded officially early in the year and released in June like Hushabye was.... but hopefully with far more success. For sure, it'll have faarrr better material; of that there is absolutely no question at all, and there's no way that can be disputed! Even babies fall asleep to Hayley's more mature music; silly lullabies are not required for slumber for people of any age! As for a record label, I am fairly certain she is with Decca. Her website was updated early-middle of this year, and the copyright says Universal Music 2016. So, as of last year, she was still with Decca. That is a separate thing from music management. I wonder if she's become her own manager just while she has no major tour to promote to save money, or just because she wants to be somewhat more independent. She might not have lost Bandana voluntarily; she may have lost it simply because Bandana changed/was eliminated. I think Rebecca is simply aware of this fact. Whether it's because she's interested in working with Hayley somehow, or maybe she's just seeking possibilities for management for her own use, I think she knows that Hayley was at least temporarily without mgmt. Yeah, you can tell in the first pic that Sarah has a paper with song material on it, since it's blurred out from our prying eyes. LOL Probably song lyrics. I would imagine she is writing for this album some, since I'm aware she has for other albums in the past. Though there are certainly very good signs Hayley's album will be out sometime next year, I feel much more confident about Sarah's (and the tour). I have to keep reminding myself how long it was between Harem and the Symphony albums, and then between those albums and Dreamchaser. It was 5 years each! That's a long time! So, I'm trying to use this thought to reassure myself about Hayley's long break. With Sarah, though, she already had quite a few albums, not to mention previous fame from broadway, under her belt, so she could kind of get away with it. Hayley has certainly been successful, but not nearly as much. Plus, her longtime fans are just not used to a long wait between Hayley albums. Her major releases have literally always been about 2 years apart (in the US, Odyssey was only a little more than a year apart from Pure). So, when you're an obsessive fan like us, it's extremely difficult to be patient for an album. Just hope it's not 10 years like it was for Loreena McKennitt.

Never seen a blue piano before! Looks like she is just knocking it out! Tonight I have been reading that Sarah is working with Frank Peterson (the producer of Timeless, Eden, La Luna, Harem) in Hamburg. And someone who interviewed Frank recently said he wasn't allowed to say much, but it will be released next year, is themed, and they have been working on it for a while now. Someone else said Sarah did an interview -can't find it right now- where she described it as "glamorous". The person/fan thought it was interesting that Sarah has had Sunset Boulevard overture played at several of her concerts recently. I saw a couple videos posted online from her recent concerts. Thought I would put some here! <3 This fan has several videos from the Monterrey concert. If you go to their page, you can see them. This one is of Figlio Perduto from La Luna. Stranger in Paradise: There for Me: And just for you Libby, Mario's solo song: It's a Beautiful Day Running from Mexico City: POTO with Mario: TTSG Canto Della Terra with Mario: Ava Maria: Sunset Boulevard Overture & Nella Fantasia: La Luna clip: This person has a playlist with several other videos if ya interested.

So, when you're an obsessive fan like us, it's extremely difficult to be patient for an album. Just hope it's not 10 years like it was for Loreena McKennitt. You beat me in posting the picture! I was about to post it, then thought I would add some videos with the post. And got lost in YouTube land for the last 2 hours watching Sarah bootleg videos. haha Now ya know what I do on a Friday night. I kinda expect something from Hayley early in the year like album announcement, a promo video, or something. I have to believe that Hayley has already recorded some of these songs officially for the new album. You would think that demos of songs would be rough cuts of a song with the voice, drums, guitar, and maybe a melody instrument. They probably take an hour or two at the most unless the demo is recording while Hayley is literally writing the song! There just has been too much time to have some of these songs already in the can. Not to mention, Hayley has worked out Greener Lands and Who Will Echo My Heart? for performances, so at least these 2 are already done and recorded, right? It does look like Hayley is gearing up though with getting her hair done with her traditional hair color, posting of the Greener Land video, and doing at least one concert in every market this year. The management or lack thereof could have affected the wait issue among other things I'm sure. Hopefully, that is resolved shortly. Maybe Decca knows people/companies. As for Sarah, I also feel more confident in seeing Sarah releasing an album next year too! But it has to do with the fact that Sarah is following her same routine and time pattern in recording a new album. The only thing I don't know is how long Sarah wants to dabble with the knobs on the engineering broad to make everything perfect. They may take some time, but with prep work that may be smoothed out. Who knows? Since I became a big fan of Sarah's at the tail end of the Harem era, I have done both of those 5 year waits in between albums. I learned while waiting for Dreamchaser and Symphony that if I sit and stare at the clock while waiting for the new album to come out, that I would drive myself crazy. Especially since I can't control what is happening behind the scenes in making the record. Hence why I have like 6-9 fave artists these days! Keeps me busy and pasts the time. I recently got back into Sarah's material after a good long break, and it sounds so fresh and beautiful. It's like catching up with an old friend. It's been great! And I recently came upon a longer gap in between albums than Loreena McKennitt. Guns N' Roses have a 15 year gap between The Spaghetti Incident and Chinese Democracy! They did release a Greatest Hits and Live album during that time though. Also, Journey's famous lead man Steve Perry has not released an album since 1994!! Going on 22 years and counting!! So in perspective, things aren't too bad in Hayley land. LOL
