I'm beginning to wonder if this is all just a publicity stunt! Richard

No, Richard, I don't think she would do that.

As posted in the Mario Frangoulis thread, Sarah is currently on tour in Asia, called her Gala tour, with guest tenor, none other than Mario! I'm hoping upon hope that he gets to tour with her in other countries, as well! Namely, the US! http://www.instagram.com/p/BHarAaRB17q

This isn't much, but I have seen some new interviews and footage of Sarah's concerts in Japan. She started off with a special concert called Starmus, which was a celebration for Steven Hawking. Also, Sarah mentions she is working on a new album in the same vein as Timeless, which is set to release some time next year!

Like Hayley, Sarah had a Greatest Hits collection released recently while she toured this month. Here is some promo on that & the setlist for Sarah's concerts in Asia.

Ah, so I wonder if she'll tour elsewhere once the album is released to the rest of the world. I saw on Mario's tour page that after the Asia tour, he's going back to touring Greece with George Perris (they've collaborated a lot since the Boston pops show). In fact, that tour doesn't end till mid-October, which would mean he wouldn't be able to tour with Sarah then, even if she was still touring. I have a feeling that it's like I say, though, that she won't tour until the album is out in those countries. But now, I wonder if that means by then, Mario will be out of the picture, and a new tenor selected. I'll still go to her concert if she comes to Seattle, of course. I still haven't quite gotten over the disappointment of her US tour cancellation in the summer of 2014. I just thought that this is possibly the only way I would ever get to see Mario live; I have my doubts he'll ever tour the US on his own.

I loved how she referred to Mario as "up and coming"!

I've just realized that when Sarah's "real" new album come out next year, it will have been 4 years since her last album, same as Hayley... we can only hope Hayley's album doesn't go any longer than that!

I hope Sarah's comes out after Hayley's record if indeed Hayley is releasing her new record next year. I want both of them to have number 1 albums and be successful, but I know Sarah is a war horse when it comes to promoting. And will over shadow anything Hayley will release, especially in the USA. Thanks to Sarah, I have learned to be patient in waiting for albums. Sarah has been taking 4-5 years in between releases for the last 2/3 records, so it's nothing new. On a positive note, I will probably have every Hayley record by the time this new record comes when ever that is! If she waits till end of next year or 2018 (hope not!), then I will be able to sing along to every song on every album. lol

Soprano performances will be highlighted both voice and its unique repertoire , as well as its special guest tenor Mario Frangoulis . Libby, you and I may get our wish early next year. YES!! This is encouraging news that Mario isn't just the guest for Asia, but other concerts, too! Of course I'd be happy enough to see Sarah in concert, but the prospect of Mario being the guest tenor when I see her makes it so much more exciting! I never dreamed I would ever get the chance to see Mario live in the US, at least, but now I might actually get to someday, and soon! I do wish I could see him sing more than a few duets, but hearing him sing Phantom of the Opera and Canto Della Terra would be amazing. Do you know if Sarah's special guests ever sing solos? I'd die and go to heaven if I got to hear him sing Nights in White Satin! Anyway, I've already decided that when the tickets go on sale, I'm going to do my best to get front row seats, even if it's very expensive, and no doubt it will be! Is it 2017 yet?? Of course, I've still got a Josh Groban concert to tide me over for a while. LOL As for Hayley's album coming out before Sarah's... well, at least Sarah has told us an album is for sure coming and that it will be next year! While we have gotten a hint from Hayley that her album likely won't be out till next year, that still really tells us nothing, and doesn't even give me much hope that there ever will be one. And now that they're pulling the plug on the official forum (yes, the forum is about to be history! ), it worries me that if her forum is dead, what does that say for Hayley's music career? Unless it's just that social media has spelled the end of forums. What I'm really hoping is that they're going to totally revamp her website, and that the loss of the forum is just a side effect of social media dominating the online world. I have visited very few artist websites these days that actually have a forum. It's all just news, discography, music videos, bio, etc. And Hayley doesn't even have half of that on her website! One music video, and an old one at that! A dead soundcloud is all you see on the Music page. All the photos are old. I do hold out hope, but very slim hope, that they will eventually update her website for the better. Remember the bio was recently updated that she was going to have a "series" of concerts in 2016? But unfortunately, 2016 is running out quick, and still nothing has been announced. Once summer hits, the rest of the year seems to go by very fast, and still no news of any concerts, series, or otherwise. And no signs of anything album-related being done. Yes, it's summer, but she appeared to have a pretty free summer last year, too, and while it's great to see her relaxing and stuff, it's also disheartening to see that yet again, the album seems to have been set aside for the time being.

I just ordered a new Sarah Brightman album, Harem, in honor of her birthday, August 14th. I recently was watching the Starmus videos, and found a song I didn't recognize, called It's a Beautiful Day. I really liked it, and looked up what album it was on, and I liked the sound of the other songs I heard in the samples. I was trying to do order it yesterday, since yesterday was actually her birthday, and because that was the last day of the BN coupon... Yes, I waited till the last minute again, but it was partly because of her birthday. Anyway, I encountered difficulties with BN's system once again. This time I logged in with my account, and realized I had never used my current credit card on the site (under my account) before. So, I tried to add it, but the system is so faulty, you think you're done filling something out (and you are!), but then it tells you something wasn't filled out, and you go back and look, and you see that there was no place to enter it, which was why you didn't enter it in the first place! So, again, my difficulties ran me down the wire, and so I missed out on the coupon. Not only that, because I could not submit my new card info, I was essentially barred from ever ordering anything, coupon or no! So, this morning I was able to contact an associate via live chat, and he recommended using a different web browser. I always use Firefox, so I tried it in Internet Explorer. At first, I encountered some of the same problems, and the guy was a little frustrating to communicate with at first (it was almost like he didn't read all of what I wrote, and I tried not to be too long-winded, but you all know that's nearly impossible for me), but at last I was able to successfully add my card and complete the order. Whew! Well, as long as I don't get a new card anytime soon, and don't wait till the last minute to order stuff again, I should hopefully not have trouble for a while. I did request that they fix the system so it doesn't act like you haven't completed info it didn't provide a way to do so to begin with.

So stay tune!! Next batch of tour dates from Sarah!! Libby, How are you enjoying Harem? It was the Andrew Lloyd Webber Collection due to the Phantom movie coming out in 2004 and Harem that really got me into Sarah's work. It's one of those records that makes me dance almost all the way through it! Love the album inside and out! In celebration (I guess ), here is my all time favorite moment in the Harem concert DVD:

Great, thanks for the update! I'll look forward to that, although I have my doubts that the new tour dates will include my area just yet. I wouldn't expect it until her new album tour. Of course, I'm still hoping Mario will be included! I don't think he's available for most of the rest of this year, since he's touring with George Perris again in Greece. I've only listened to Harem all the way through once. It was nice to hear Sarah's What You Never Know, but I have to say Hayley's is much better. It was strange not to hear Hayley's lyrics in the song. Oh, and I forgot to mention, that the representative gave me a discount code of 20% off, so I ended up with a better discount than I would have had without all that trouble! I really hope to avoid that trouble in the future, though. I'm not going to give up Barnes & Noble just yet, though; I'll see how they do the next few times I order from them. Hey, I think it was after we saw the Phantom movie that my sister got a CD from the library that included Michael Crawford and Sarah, so I wonder if this was the album you're referring to. Once we got a Sarah album or 2 from the library as well. I think they were Timeless and La Luna. I remember liking some songs on Luna, but being slightly bored by the opera on Timeless (it's taken me a long time to learn to appreciate it more, and then, I still don't like most "real" opera singers). I was surprised to learn recently that the song There for Me was on that album, as well as (what I thought was) Mario's Naturaleza Muerta. I might get Timeless next time I get one of her albums. However, I do already have some songs from that album. I have La Wally (which I really, really like) because it was on her Classics album from 2006. I also have Who Wants to Live Forever, which I downloaded from Amazon. I do like her O Mio Babbino Caro, too. Anyway, I should be used to having the same songs on different albums; I am a Hayley fan, after all!
