Well, I waited long enough to join HWI, but I finally did. Some people here might recognize my moniker from the Hayley forum from linked from her web site. It's been down so long I gave up there. So here I am. I have a lot of catching up ahead of me on the Hayley news. I'm sure she's been very busy while I've been waiting. Mark D.

Hi Grant Thanks for the welcome. I have not met Hayley, but have seen her perform live. In Minneapolis, MN. USA a couple of years ago. She was opening for a boy-band that I can't even remember the name of.... I was only interested in hearing Hayley. She used to pop into her forum once in a while, and once replied to a question I asked of her. That was very nice. Few people in her profession, as busy as they are, can take the time to do that.. I'll mostly be reading (lurking) in the forum. Probably won't post much unless I actually have something worthwhile to add. Mark D.

Hi Mark!
Welcome to HWI. The boy-band you are referring to is Il Divo, and I was at that same show in Minneapolis. One thing I specifically remember is her singing 'From A Distance' something which I had never heard her do before.
Welcome again and enjoy catching up with what's been going on, but don't be hesitant to post!

Hi Markd A warm welcome to the forum from me too. Yes, there is an awful lot of info on this forum, infact virtually the whole history of Hayley's career - if you have the time to read it. Please do post however much you like I very much look forward to your future posts. Best wishes Mark

Take your time MarkD, linger and savour. Speed is sometimes our essence: - telling Hayley where's she going before she knows where she's going
- posting 'stop press' reports and photos before the presses even started running
- backing everything with all round current news
But that means there is plenty her on diverse levels just to mull through in your own time. It may not all be fine wine but much here is indeed heady stuff! Welcome. Peter S.

I really must teach myself to be less verbose! :bat: Then I realise why I am... its the camaraderie that's here. After all, look at the Royal Albert Hall thread--we're all excited at meeting up again and Hayley won't be there! Peter S.
