Hi Grant
I booked through See Tickets and have Arena F3 seats 23 to 26. So no bad behaviour from you just behind us!
Cheers,
George

Hi all, Thank you Martin for the advice - I booked my tickets through the Royal Albert Hall website. Grant and George, I've got Arena A5 Seat 10. Not to sure if it's a good seat, though. I asked them to hold my ticket at the Box Office, because I don't have an address in Manchester yet. I'll book a place to stay the night in London and the bus tickets later (or train, not sure which one is better!). See you there

You will see on Reply 7 Roger has posted a seating plan of RAH. It would appear that you are on the opposite side to George's party and me, though we all appear to have reasonable seats. No doubt we will all arrange to meet up before the show anyway. Best wishes Grant

Hi Stephany, Grant & co If you click on this link and then select continue (in the select your own section) then click on stalls you will see a plan that numbers all the seats. Then run your cursor over the seats, the Seat/Row numbers appear. Don't go booking though - it is a plan for a future concert but gives the picture of where you are all sat! tickets.royalalberthall.com/season/reserve.aspx?spid=9830&id=9831&src=tLooking forward to meeting you, Stephany George

This is getting exciting for me too, if only I can be sure of getting my health problems sorted out by then. I stayed in Dusseldorf for a whole summer holiday as a child and on another occasion it was the base that started a holiday tour round some of Germany, particularly including the Black Forest, Cologne and Hamberlin yonks ago.
I have been meaning to re-tour Germany again. Now, train or car? The evenings will be drawing in by then quite considerably, but autumn colours--although a lot of your wooded area, if I remember correctly is evergreen, is it not, Thomas?

Count me in for the Albert Hall. Hopefully with Hayley, but in any event I think this could turn out to be a big HWI gathering and what's more We all get to meet Stephany!!Guys, do you think she's ready for us? As I've never been to the AH before, where is everybody planning to sit or where are the best seats? OMG!! The Albert Hall. Can't wait!! Best wishes Grant WELL DON''T SIT UP IN THE GODS FULLER THEN A THIRD OF THE CIRCLE ROUND FROM ABOVE THE ROYAL BOX. Preferably, don't sit in the Gods. Gordon, Dave can comment about how 'twisted' you need to be to sit in the side flanking stalls and someone said don't sit in the centre too close or you'll get a crick in the neck! So much for the Albert Hall!!! Did you know that when they built it they forgot to put in toilets!? On a more positive note, the roof consists of spines like an umbrella. It is supported by its weight pressing downwards and outwards against the walls. It had to be assembled a few feet above the walls and then dropped into position. When it came to doing the dastardly deed none of the builders would knock the chocks away and no on would stay in the building while it happened--rather like when the dentist disappears round the door as he presses the button to take an X-ray! The architect himself had to climb the scaffolding and knock the chocks away. In one even movement, the whole thing suddenly sank three to six feet, locking centrally and into the walls. Its been like that ever since, not actually built into the walls. Oh boy, what engineering! Peter S.

It's a nice picture of Hayley too! It sure is, Steve. I had just pinched it for my avatar moments before seeing you post! Roger

Hi Caite
I think right next to Stephany is a better position.
