For the concert in Amsterdam,they use now a new advertising.
In the first announcement, celtic woman was a group with 5 singers and a violin player.Now it is a group with four singers,
Meav,lisa,Orla,Chloe and violinplayer Maired. Greetz JOYCE.

Looks like Celtic Management is once again taking their management tips from Mel Brooks' "The Producers."

And word is now that they're coming back to the U.S. in October for a smaller tour to some of the places they didn't catch this tour www.celticwomanforum.com/index.php?topic=1141.0
(at least that's what was said at the taping of their newest DVD). So, who knows really.

The Riverdance of Voices

IT’S the biggest show to come out of Ireland since Riverdance but this time it’s voices rather than feet which are dancing.

Celtic Woman features four young Irish female vocalists and an exciting young fiddle player, as well as a guest slot from New Zealand singing sensation Hayley Westenra.

The women – vocalists Chloe, Lisa, Méav and Orla and fiddle player Mairead – perform a repertoire of contemporary hits such as Beyond the Sea, Scarborough Fair and Over the Rainbow as well as classical favourites and Irish standards.

Billed as “The Riverdance of Voices”, the show has been a huge hit in America, Japan, South Africa, Germany and Canada and is now on a UK tour.

The show arrives in Cardiff with a date at St David’s Hall on Monday, September 24 and you could be there free because we have four pairs of tickets to give away.

All you have to do to enter is answer this question: What nationality is Hayley Westenra?

Just so you know, it has just been announced by a US venue that 'Celtic Woman' will perform in Germain Arena on October 10th, 2007. As a reminder, the girls are supposed to perform in Frankfurt, Germany, on October 9th.
I know that the trip is possible, but... More info on Celtic Woman forum.

I am glad to see that this sale has been removed and that other ticket sales "Featuring Hayley Westenra" (Birmingham, Bournemouth, RAH) have now been modified by the sellers after a few words. We do not want Hayley to be blamed for her absence.

The advert by tickets outlet British Concerts still advertises the UK shows as"feat. Hayley Westenra" on their website.

I am a little surprised that someone has not made them change it.

Also in Charlotte, PBS aired A New Journey again and were selling tickets to shows in Charlotte October 23-25.
