Hello Gordon! I'm planning on being at Smithfield by about 6:00pm, or perhaps a bit earlier. I'll probably walk from St. Paul's tube station if the Central Line's running, but you should go to Barbican. If the tube strike is on, you could walk from Liverpool Street in less than 20 minutes. Head for Moorgate, walk along Beech Street under the Barbican, cross Aldersgate Street and West Smithfield is about 250 yards straight ahead down Long Lane. Four days to go!!! i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifSee you there, Richard

Hello again folks! The threatened tube strike has been suspended, so the trains should be running to Barbican and all the other stations in the area on Tuesday. Two days to go!!! i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifSee you there, Richard

I think you are very lucky to go to hear the All Angels. I like them alot. My mom says they are very good too. But I can't go to this concert. But maybe someday I will go and see them sing like I saw Hayley Westenra sing at Shepherds Bush. I want ot go and meet ALL of them one day!! You are lucky to go! I hope you put lots of pictures up like you did of Hayley. from hayleysfan

Hello everybody! Mark Griffiths and Nick Bailey both mentioned this concert on Classic FM this morning, but they didn't give the exact location. John Brunning will be there to launch the 'Search for an Angel' competition, so I expect All Angels will sing his 'Pie Jesu' this evening. See you there, Richard

Hi everyone I was planning to come along to join you this evening - however, something has come up on the work front that makes it very difficult for me to get there. I'll be very disappointed If I don't make it, I hope all goes well for the Angels and you all have a good time. Best regards Mark

Hi guys! I'm sure you will all have had a great time with All Angels tonight, I wish I could have been with you, but it would have meant an overnight stay and I have a very important talk to prepare for tomorrow evening! I'm very much looking forward to the pictures and, I believe, a report from Caite. Best wishes Grant

Hi folks! It is 1:15am and I have just arrived home from the All Angels concert. It was a very initimate venue with only about 150 seats, ten of whom were HWI members! We were treated to a mixture of songs from their debut album and the new one which is to be released in November. If any of the songs are spelled wrongly, blame the Angels because I copied it from their set list! Sing Low Sweet Chariot Barcarolle Sull Aria Pie Jesu (Brunning) In Paradisum Nothing Compares to You Singing You Through INTERVAL Flower Duet Songbird Hosanna Steal Away (One that I couldn't read upside down!) Ave Verum Corpus Sound of Silence Make Me A Channel of Your Peace Over the next few days, a few pictures will be posted but, in time, the main coverage will be on the AAI forum. Roger

Wow, Sound of Silence! I've always liked that melody. I think it's a great choice for the Angels. And Sing Low Sweet Chariot -- another spiritual! Great to see that, since they did such a good job with Steal Away. Can't wait to see pics/reviews! Oksy

Lightweight! It's 4 am now and I'm still working at it! i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gif I've just posted at the AAI forum about this brilliant concert so I won't repeat it all, I'll be lazy and give you the link instead and here it is!But I couldn't go without leaving a random photo to brighten up the thread here - there are a few more on the above link and I know Steve and Stuart will have lots more soon! Charlotte chatting to the audience as Melanie, Daisy and Laura listen Cheers, Dave PS: Roger, the missing item on the song list is "Quartet" but I've forgotten which song the quartet played!!!

Hello everybody! To complete the set list, the concert opened with Elgar's 'Chanson de Matin', played by the five-piece ensemble that backed All Angels. The piece that Roger couldn't read upside down was Elgar's 'Salut d'Amour', again played by the ensemble. It was a brilliant concert! i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifBest Wishes, Richard

Hi guys,
Well, I managed to drag myself into work this morning after getting home at around 0115.. it's taken two cans of Red Bull to get this far, and I'm far from awake..
..however, that said, last night was amazing
Off to the AAI Forum to see what's going on!
