Might be Sydenham, close to Charlotte's School and home.
Alternatives are Smithfield, East Ham or Dinard in France.
Only the first seems to go in for extra music.
(Where did you hear this Mark?)

HI Drew
I got it direct from Kathryn at Bedlam - she was asking if I was going and mentioned the church. Unfortunately, she didnt say where the church was. I presume that Roger will be updated officially very soon.
Regards Mark

I know I'm not coming to this one, but if it is now a FREE concert, what happens to those who've already bought tickets? Best wishes Grant

Sounds as though this is going to be interesting..
At least the venue is within spitting distance of St Paul's Cathedral, so it's easy enough to get to - if it's the one I'm thinking of.
Either way, I still plan on being in attendance

For anyone who need to travel by tube (hoping they are not on strike!), the nearest stations are Barbican and Farringdon.

I have just phoned the Southbank Centre Box Office with regard to obtaining a refund for the original ticket. I was told that it "should happen automatically"! Yeah, it should, but will it? I was kept waiting for several minutes but then told that my card had been re-credited with the full amount. He added that I should receive written confirmation in a few days. Yeah, I should, but will I? Roger

Yeah, I should, but will I? Roger Roger, I'll believe it when I see it. I seem to be having problems with tickets lately.. I still don't have a refund for the cancelled RAH concert and am waiting on yet another call back from the ticket office as to why not. The mess with the ticket from last Friday still hasn't been resolved - another call back, and now this one. I'm starting to give up on the whole idea of concerts. Argh.

I have just received a call ftom the South Bank Centre Box Office to say that my credit card will be refunded with the full amount of £22.
I hope to go to the new venue and perhaps someone could suggest a time when we could meet up.
Gordon
