Hi
Thanks to all who posted photos. This was a very memorable evening with fine performances from Hayley and All Angels. I thought All Angels' version of "The sound of silence" was perfect, they make all those intricate harmonies look so effortless. The conductor was a jolly chap and his banter made for a relaxed atmosphere.
My torch was essential as we had to walk back in pitch darkness and along unmade roads! The organisers should have made a mention of this.

Hi Paddy I'm pleased you like the pictures - "Princess Hayley" does describe that pose perfectly. BTW it was my fault about the picture sizes - I see you've reduced them anyway, but mine are all now the proper size. Kind regards Colin Hi Colin, The second photo is a special rarity, I think. It seems to represent that vibrant 'regal' moment ... when singer and song unite ... and take total command of a spell-bound audience .... I wonder what song was it? Your Canon fits the occasion better than any 21-gun salute! Paddy P.S. I put back your (reduced) photos in my post. I'd merely resized temporarily, so that my post could express what I intended.

Thanks all, Great coverage.....magnificent reports & pics... Jeff, you confirmed something for me....Hayley won the Classical Brits.... Paddy (.....and thank you Steve....) Here's another Princess shot. Graeme Hi Graeme, Your colourful label shows that you see what I see. Here's another variation on the Princess theme: Thanks to Stuart. Paddy P.S. Graeme, I think it was the 'Classy' Brits that Hayley won! (i.e. 'classier than ***** )

This one, for the technically-minded, is a panorama made up of three photos stitched together in Photoshop, where the original is 7000 x 2000 pixels. Hopefully you can't see the joins! If anyone is interested I may be able to make this available in hi-res (file size is nearly 12Mb) - PM me and I'll see what I can do. Kind regards Colin Hi Panorama Maker, It looks like you have a new HWI signature now? Fantastic. Paddy
