Hi Joyce Love the photo's - like the latest outfit too! That must be Hayley's favourite belt at the moment - she's worn it with several outfits recently. Love the pony tail too! Best wishes Grant

I am sorry that I cannot promise you a full set of sixteen but here is number one for starters: Pokarekare AnaSteve was telling me how he first heard this song at a testimonial rugby match at Auckland (male singers, not Hayley). He was moved then.

Hi Folks, Part of a request emailed to a large radio station here in Ireland..... Explosions of a different kind in Derry and Belfast. Hayley Westenra performed in The Millennium Forum Derry last Saturday Night and the Waterfront Hall in Belfast on Sunday night to great explosions of applause as Hayley launched into a beautiful rendition of Danny Boy for her final encore at both venues. As the lights came up tears could be seen streaming down many of the faces of the audience at the sheer beauty of the way Hayley sings this song. It was hard to believe that so many people could be so quiet as they listened to this wonderful singer from Christchurch, New Zealand sing songs like Sonny, In Trutina, Summer Fly, Pokarekare Ana, Ave Maria and The Last Rose of Summer. Supported by Ian Tilley on piano and Fiona Pears on violin they filled both of these venues with a cascade of beautiful music leaving both audiences content and peacful as they left for home. Hayley's next appearances in Ireland will be : National Concert hall on the 11th September 2008 and UCH, Limerick on the 12th September 2008 Please Please, play any song by Hayley for all the dedicated fans who headed up to be at both venues for these wonderful concerts. It has not gone out on air yet.. Maybe tomorrow.......

Fantastic photographs, Joyce! I can tell Hayley was delighted to see you waiting at the Stage Door. Your Wellington boots probably made her think of New Zealand! i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifThanks for the excellent video, Drew. Hayley was clearly in great voice as always. As with the Derry concert, I'm looking forward to more reports and photographs, please, please, please! i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifBest Wishes, Richard

Thanks Drew, That was amazing, as you can all hear Hayley was on top form in Belfast, I had tears in my eyes several times during this concert..
Fiona as you can hear was pretty amazing too... what a sound. Listen to the end of the video Pokarekare Ana again....and over this weekend I realised how brilliant a pianist Ian Tilley is. He played like a man possessed on some of the tunes when Hayley was offstage and Fiona was absolutely flying, adding a very lighthearted section to the whole concert.

Ian was playing for the Pope last Sunday with 60,000 spectators at the Yankees Stadium. He said that he was rather concerned at the number of security personnel at that event. Whilst there were a number of security staff at Belfast (no doubt Joyce may comment on one of them) I am sure that the overall proceedings were considerably more relaxed than the previous Sunday.
Ian seemed to be enjoying his market stall after the show as well!

OOOOOOOOOOppppppppssssss, about Security? Well i can tell you this.....after the concert i saw someone having a settinglist, and at that moment i saw another one ,laying on the stage floor,so i climbed up the stage and picked it up, before it founds its way to the bin. I remember David and Karsten were taking pictures of it, and i was sitting on the stage floor, to let them take the pictures. At that moment there was a security member behind me, and asked me who i was, and what i was doing on the stagefloor??? Before i could give him an answer, (i remember i said, my name is Joyce and i'm from the Netherlands) he was making a phonecall, and more security appeared in the venue . I think they were afraid , i would put the big piano in my bag BTW, there are friendly security members too!!!! Before the gathering when i was walking in the city, i was at the waterfronthall, to take a look. I found the doors open, and looked where the Boxoffice was etc etc. I picked some flyers with me(There were plenty of them), and i saw this megasized posters hanging before the big windows. I asked someone if i could get one, maybe after the concert, but it seems this was not possible.I got another one about 40x60 cm and brought it (very happy ofcourse) to my hotel. At the pre gathering, Karsten was interested too, in the big sized poster, even Jeanny wanted one.I know that Karsten asked, but it was not possible to have one. After the concert, just when the signing session became to an end, i was thinking by myself...........well let's try it again...and i asked a security member, or maybe it was a staff member, for this big sized poster. He made a phonecall, and than he came to me, to say that i could have one..........I was over the moon!! The problem, now was, how to get this poster out of the frame, they were taped, and it would absolutly damaged the poster!! At that moment i decided, not to have one......... ..................just a few minutes later he came back with a BRAND NEW ONE !!!....................WOW, that man deserved a big HUG,............so he got one!!!!! Greetz JOYCE.

Some more from the Waterfront hall. Panoramic views from the bar. Behind the appartments, you see the place(H&W) where long time ago the TITANIC was build. H&W......................funny ,just thinking about Hayley & Westenra. Greetz JOYCE.
