Going back in time.............. This is how my day started............ 5.45 am wake up, 6.30 am, my husband is bringing me to the airport 7.40 am...............OMG......................... Mayholidays are popular in Holland, Departure Hall 1 closed on Amsterdam/Schiphol international airport...................thousands of people waiting for check in...............i'm a little bit worried when i see the long, long cue's waiting!!! I'm going to departure hall 2, where even more people are waiting for check in, here is the end of the cue, which starts in departure hall 1.Can you imagine what my thoughts were at that moment!! Finaly i'm lucky, travelling with only hand lugage, saves me from cues, and a friendly woman is helping me, with checking in, on a machine...............10 minutes before boarding i'm arriving at the boarding gate. Aer Lingus. View on Belfast, from the plane. No rain..............but beautiful weather!!! Joyce

I am intrigued by Gordon's 'surprise' - I've spent the morning racking what's left of my brain (thanks Drew! ) but haven't come up with any answers. Guess I'll have to wait for Gordon unless someone lets the cat out of the bag. Best wishes Grant Maybe there's a chocolate connatation here? Martin That must be it! Hayley brought chocolate for HWI!! Best wishes Grant

I even had the honour of sitting beside the 'weaver of mysteries'! Not that it helps but I can confirm that Gordon was on his best behaviour at all times. The mystery deepens ..... Paddy

Haha, I love mysteries, especially when I know the answer and see everyone else struggling! Actually, something was said a few posts ago, I think, in jest. From what I have heard, it was absolutely spot on! Other than that, I'm saying nothing! Roger

Hi Paddy et all I'm glad you had a great time at the Irish concerts, particularly Belfast. I am suprised to see that "https://i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifanny Boy" was left to the encore as I would have expected it to be within the main song list. Perhaps that was deliberate to end the evening on a high for the Irish audience. Best wishes Martin Hi Martin, I think 'Danny Boy' probably had a bigger audience impact by being last (and somewhat unexpected). The song would be quite popular locally and throughout Ireland (both sides now). Paddy

Maybe there's a chocolate connatation here? Martin (In the words of Little Britain) "Yes but, no but!" That is a different story. I turned up too late to be party to that one.

Hi Joyce These are great photos - keep them coming. i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifI can confess now that I tried hard to get over to the Belfast concert but unfortunately it didn't work out. My mother-in-law lives in Belfast and it is probably the only time I have said to my wife "Can we visit your mother". Martin
