Thanks Stephany, I have counted 940 seats in total from the plan. Strange offset of the stage compared to the garden area and seats on the side of the stage. It looks a lot more regimented than I was expecting. The original picture looked more like a picnic. I suspect that the trees and bushes have been removed to make way for more profit.

Thanks Stephany,
I am really interested in this. Though I don't want to book anything for the summer yet until there is an announcement on Kathfest (Katherine Jenkins summer concert in Neath). I hope there will be one soon.
Ideally they will both be on weekends following each other then I can make a week of it in Wales then. I don't want to have to choose between two of my favourite artists and hope that I wont have too.
I really want to go to this concert though, not just for Hayley, it looks such a beautiful place and it sounds like it will be a fantastic experience.

Hi Dazza, I hope you can go to this one as it seems a very beautiful place and setting for a concert. I'm also impatiently waiting for an announcement about Katherine's Festival because I wouldn't want to leave the UK without having seen another artist I admire hugely - especially in her hometown! Unfortunately I missed out the opportunity to see her on tour with Darcey Bussell on 'Viva la Diva' because the Manchester shows were already sold out when I arrived. Hayley has always said that she loves Wales and enjoys outdoor concerts so it should be a superb concert not too miss (but that I will miss anyway no matter what I say ). Stephany

Hi Stephany,
Like Hayley, I love Wales too. My family originates from Wrexham in Wales, although I was born and raised in England. We have had many holidays in Wales down the years, it is such a beautiful country and although I consider myself to be English I have always felt some sort of affinity to Wales.
I would absolutely love to see Hayley perform in Wales, although I will be going to the Llandundo concert too, open air concerts always seem to have a special feel about them (I haven't been to one, it's the impression I get from videos and reading reports), especially in such beautiful surroundings. I would love to go to this concert.
I am very tempted to just get a ticket as soon as they go on sale, whether Kathfest has been announced or not, although I am worried about tempting fate. I would be gutted if they were to be held on the same weekend and I would have to miss one. Hopefully though I will be able to go to both.
You will also be pleased to know that because of demand, there will be more Viva la Diva shows next year. I believe there will be an announcement soon.

Hi Stephany/Everyone. I have some excellent news. Kathfest 2008 is going to be held from July 25th-27th at Cyfarthfa Castle, Merthyr Tydfil. That means that I can attend both, meaning I can definitely go and see Hayley at Aberglasney Gardens. Dazza

Thanks Stephany,
I took a good look at this the other day and unfortunately it doesn't look like I will be going, basically because it is in the middle of nowhere - which for people like me who can't drive poses a bit of a problem.
The nearest train station is a good 7 miles away in Llandeilo, but is only served by 4 trains in each direction on weekdays, less at the weekend. Bus services between Llandovery and Carmarthen are more frequent, but still only 7 a day, and the stop is a good 20/25 minute walk from the gardens.
It's a shame as I would have liked to have gone to this concert as it seems to be such a beautiful setting. Although it's not all bad, not going to this one allowed me to book up for Jersey.
