Well - my first post on here - and I have to say how great it is that you take the time to produce such a great site.
Yesterday was the first time I had seen Hayley live and I was blown away by a great performance and how natural and friendly she came across, and also the great setting that provided for an intimate concert.
I was one of those people who "tagged on" at the end as mentioned in post 37 (and apologise if I intruded) which really made the evening - what a delightful young lady she is, taking time to speak to fans and seeming so down to earth.
I'll certainly try to catch more live performances as a recent fan of Hayley's music.

Are you the guy that was talking to Roger? If so I was at the other end of our party of three and you did not intrude as I believe you were invited! Very best wishes Grant

No - I wasn't the guy talking to Roger, although I did notice that you guys seemed to have a lot of knowledge about Hayley from what I heard (although I didn't like to interrupt.) I was the guy sitting on the grass at the front fairly near the middle (got a quick photo at the end with a camera phone).
Regards,

Hello James and welcome to the forum. You certainly were not intruding. Indeed, you had just as much right to be there as we did. You would have been more than welcome to "interrupt" but, in registering as a member of this forum, at least you saved me the job of trying to pursuade you! In the hope that this is seen by concert-goers of the future, if anyone thinks they recognize us, or you notice a group of fans who are pretending to be experts on Hayley's career, please come and say hello. We don't bite... unless we are midway through a picnic! Best wishes, Roger

Hi Guys & Honey I have just read your reports and seen the first photos which made me even more disappointed that I missed the concert. Actually, I had decided to purchase a ticket but on return from holiday mid-week I received the sad news of a family bereavement so I am sure you will understand my absence yesterday.
Be rest assured you have cheered me up and I look forward to seeing you all next Friday.
Best wishes Martin

Hi All,
Firsly I would like to thank Roger Dave and Grant for the reports and photos,it was great to catch up with you again.I think that Roger summed up the setting for the sound check very well and I was very pleased that we had such good weather for the only open air Hayley concert that I was able to attend this year.We were so fortunate to get an extended sound check, virtually two concert for the price of one and at a very pleasant venue. In his report Grant has covered the concert in detail and I would only add that the inclusion of River of Dreams was greatly appreciated by myself. It was the first time that I had seen Hayley in the red dress and it has to be my favourite.Like Grant this was the first time I had been to this type of concert and was unprepared for the fireworks at the end. It was a shame that we were not allowed on to the stage for the meeting with Hayley afterwards but she accommodated everyone as well as possible given the circumstances, and she expressed her thanks for the supply of chocolate I had left with Erika. In general conversation with Erika concerning the promotion of Hayley and All Angels I made the comment that we[ meaning HWI ] did our bit to which she replied " You do a lot ". It is good to know that we have the support of the management team and makes our support of Hayley even more worthwhile. Bye the way Grant that was a cunning plan to get a hug from Hayley, guess you wanted to get even with me after Shrewsbury!!
Best wishes
Gordon

Hi everybody! Thank you for your great reports, Grant, Roger, Dave and Gordon. And also for the fabulous pictures. I like Hayley wearing her casual clothes during the sound check. If I only knew who took those pictures? The reviews make me become unpatient for Shephards Bush. I received the sad news of a family bereavement so I am sure you will understand my absence yesterday. That are sad news, Martin. I hope you're doing well. See you next week! Thomas

Hi everyone Thanks very much to Grant, Roger, Gordon & Dave for your reports and photos. It sounds like another fantastic evening and something a little different, yet again, from Hayley in terms of the venue etc. Gordon, how pleasing it is to get some feedback on HWI from Hayley's management team. I truly believe that we are appreciated but its still reassuring to be told so occaisionally I would have loved to hear Hayley sing River Of Dreams live with full orchestra Grant, so pleased that you got your hug Looking forward to seeing you all next week. Best regards Mark

You picked a splendid concert for your introduction to Hayley, she was on absolutely top form. You should have introduced yourself - none of us will shun a Hayley fan - we exist because we love Hayley and will do what we can to promote her and her music and that includes bringing new members on board the forum. So from that perspective you are most welcome and I hope you enjoyed your first meeting with her. She really is unique isn't she? Look forward to hearing more from you in the future. Very best wishes Grant

I don't know whether anyone else picked up that comment from Erika, I certainly didn't but it's just a further feather in the cap of HWI to have it confirmed, yet again, that we are valued by Hayley and her management team. Thanks fopr sharing. Best wishes Grant

Hi All! Some more pics from me from the first part of the second half with Hayley in her Celtic gown! Again, sorry for the quality but with such low light I had to set the camera at 1600 ISO with a speed of just a 40th of a second which required Hayley to stand still. Something she rarely does! Best wishes Grant

Hi Grant,
You have no need to apologise for the quality of the pictures. For 1600 ISO and a speed of a 40th of a second, they are excellent.
In earlier posts, a rope in front of the stage has been mentioned. You can see it in the first two shots in the post two above this one. It may not appear so, but it was approximately three feet in front of the stage and anyone attempting to cross it would have been locked in the stables for the duration!
Roger
