Have only just returned down south following my trip to Grassington and have been catching up on the forum. Glad to see that you were able to represent HWI and I think your report and pictures are excellent.

HWI have been busy haven't they! That's why we're called HWI, Steve. Because we're Hard Working Individuals!  Roger I agree with you Roger  You guys truly are Hard Working Individuals. Wow!!! Thanks Mark for the video and the pictures!!! Now I see why Sonny is such a hit!! Now I really want to hear it live, it's so awesome!! I love the piano so I love listening to the piano in any live performance, and this one is wonderful!! Hayley's performance was also wonderful. Meldy |

Hi everyone I just wanted to say thank you all for your many kind comments on my report, pics and video clip of this concert. I can assure you that the pleasure was all mine  , both for obviously being there to support Hayley and to spend some time with her, but also and just as importantly, to be able to share the experience with all of you. Hi Mark, Just a quick question. On the "Sonny" video, Hayley says something at the very beginning and the audience is laughing but I can't get what she's saying. Could you help me figure it out? Hi Stephany I think I can remember what Hayley says here.... Remember that Hayley has already performed one encore - Amazing Grace and Fiona and the guitarist had already left the stage. Hayley said "where has the rest of the band gone" - she wanted the audience to applaud them ! She disappeared off the stage for a moment but couldnt find them. "The'll be back" says Hayley. Meanwhile, Ian was sitting at the piano. Thats when Hayley announces, "shall I sing another song ? what shall I sing?" Somone shouts out Sonny and Hayley says to Ian "we can manage that cant we" upon which the guitarist comes back on stage and Hayley says (as per video) - "I told you they would be back some time" or words to that effect. Sorry for the long story - buts thats the best I can do  Does that help Stephany ? Lots of love Mark x |
