Hi Mark, What a fantastic report...I thoroughly enjoyed reading it! Looks like you had a pleasant evening - despite being "alone". Hopefully there soon will be other members of the audience joining HWI I can't believe you all managed to have Hayley sing "Sonny". What a treat! Thank you again for the lovely pictures and report. Best wishes, Stephany

Part 3 - Porthcawl - After the show (a)Now Grant, be patient i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gif While I'm trying to sort out "the other thing" Here are a few of the shots that I took after the show Hayley had changed into another balck dress for after the show and unusually, she was wearing bright red wedge heel shoes. As you will see, she was wearing a red flower in her hair to match. Any thoughts for a caption on this one ? More later...... Mark.

Hi Mark I'm confused now 'cos Garbobob said "there wasn't anywhere for a meet & greet" Ah hum!! Anyway Mark a fabulous report and some great pictures. I spent quite a lot of last night thinking "I bet Mark'll be there now, humm!! wish I'd gone now!" then a bit later "Hayley should be on stage now, wonder what she's wearing?" Can't go to everyone though, can we now?? Looking forward to the rest of your pictures and "the something" By the way, the dress is 'the slinky black number' (Hayley, or Caite's words, not mine!) that she wore at Cardiff and other places since, she must like it. Love the flower in the hair too!! Best wishes Grant

Thanks, Mark, for your terrific account of the concert! It must have been amazing to be there and that certainly comes across.
By the way, I'm not surprised the audience clapped along to "Summer Fly", although that would bother me since it intrudes on the song. You get this type of "audience participation" at folk concerts and not everyone digs it. Oh well.

Hi Caite & Stephany Caite wrote No Caite, she didn't - it was Ian of course, but it was totally un rehearsed, the way it sounded, you would have thought it was a song she had sung live many times - but I wont spoil the possible surprise just yet Mark

Part 3 - Porthcawl - After The Show (b)Fiona & Ian already had a long cue of takers for Fiona's CD's by the time Hayley arrived in her stunning black dress, red shoes and flower in her hair to match . Whilst Hayley was chatting and signing to those who were waiting to see her, I took the chance to take some photo's (some of which you have seen) and then went to chat with Ian Tilley. He remembered me from Cadogan Hall last September. We talked about Fiona and her future plans and I discovered that Fiona is the Musical Director for Hayley's Kiwi Ceili at Shepherds Bush Ian was saying that it promises to be something very special indeed, he was certainly very excited about it. Ian also said that Fiona was so very happy to see those of you who went to see her concert at Liverpool Street Station on Tuesday, it really was very much appreciated and Ian asked me to pass on my thanks to you all. Now back to after the show - here are a few more pics first _ Once the crowd had mostly gone, Hayley spotted me with a big smile and a welcome "Hi", and a brief hug She had got my note and was obviously pleased that I was there to support her. Of course, out came the now famous Dark & Blacks chocolate. The pic was taken by Ray - Hayleys road manager & driver - Thanks Ray. To be continued in Part 3 (c) ......................... Mark

Great report and pictures so far Mark! You didn't happen to get a picture of her shoes did you? Now...this part 3 C. Does the C have significance perhaps? <3 Caite
