As far as I know, this event has never been mentionned or/and confirmed by Hayley's management. Roger ? Source : Bridgend.gov.uk

Hi Stephany Thanks for finding this, I will have to look where Porthcawl is on the map i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gif Mind you, I will have already seen Hayley twice in June It doesn't say if it is just hayley performing on her own but I guess that it is. Thanks again Stephany Best wishes Mark

Hi Mark, Looks like it's not very far from Cardiff. 20 minutes drive according to the city's website. Stephany

Interesting venue for Hayley. She certainly seems drawn to Wales! As this is only 12 days after Telford, and would mean yet another overnight stay in Cardiff , I shall regretfully give it a miss. Hopefully there'll be a couple more nearer home i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifBest wishes Grant

Hi All I went to Porthcawl many times as a child when it was probably the most popular seaside resort for residents of South Wales (this was in the days when car ownership was much less than now and before the "package holiday").
I was there last around ten years ago and it was rather run down as is the fate of many British seaside resorts. However, Hayley is appearing there mid-Summer so there should be no shortage of interested supporters.

You called? I will endeavour to find out. I have asked similar questions about other possible events so, with any luck, I will hear news of anything that is not yet announced. I'll let you know as soon as I hear anything. Roger

It looks like Hayley and her Management are arranging quite a busy schedule for the summer here in the UK. Great for us with lots of reporting to be done for our overseas members.
Martin
I've just noticed that this possible event is the day before Grassington (quite a journey between the two).

Hi Everyone
Martin, I'm not going to Grassington so maybe I will look at my diary to see if I can fit this one in. Anyone else likely to be going ?

Thanks again Stephany Best wishes Mark Sounds a like a fascinating venue to spend a couple of days but I am afraid I am not as mobile as I was and already committed for Llangollen and Grassington, I shall have to give it a miss. Yes, I can imagine it being a classic Hayley decision and she will derive much fun from the booking. Its a long time since i've done a seashore show. Is it actually an 'end of pier' show? Peter S.

Martin I've just noticed that this possible event is the day before Grassington (quite a journey between the two). A point I hadn't picked up, already intending to spend a few days in the Dales. She won't want a late night and although she can sleep in the car it is still quite a haul. M4/M5 simple enough BUT it depends very much on the traffic and the M5, especially at the Welsh end, can be a pain. And its holiday time with caravans slowing everything up. I wonder if they have really thought this one through? However, she could stay overnight in Cardiff (which she has done before), catch a train and have a car at Grassington might make the journey easier. Peter S.

The Pavillion is right on the seafront close to the East Pier. Just realised I was there last year visiting the fire station! Unfortunately, there is no railway station, so a stay in Cardiff is not practical either Best wishes Grant

in the "events" section. Can we consider this an official confirmation? Best wishes, Stephany
Hi Stephany Certainly, tickets can be bought for Portcawl so that suggests to me that the booking is confirmed. There are other discrepancies between the two sites, for example the official site doesn't mention Jersey, Grassington or Woburn. Martin
