Hi Peter Actually, I think it is my turn to call the box office this coming Friday. If you remember, we decided on Friday to call, as it is likely the tickets will go on sale from a Monday. However, if you want to take a turn, please do - otherwise, I will call on Friday as planned. Best regards Mark. I trust you went ahead, as I hope to discover in around 100 posts' time, which is how far I have had to trawl to catch up on what has happened over the weekend. The dreaded 31st January lurks but I have taken time out regardless to try and keep abreast, this (Monday) morning. Peter S.

I have spoken to the box office again this morning and there is still no news as to when tickets will go on sale.
A very helpful lady pointed out that it was in the hands of the organisers - I guess that's the vicar at St George's church.
One other thing, I confirmed that details will be posted on their web site and tickets will be able to be booked on line (but I guess you knew that!)

Just to keep everyone interested in this one updated, I rang Telford AGAIN just now and spoke to a different lady.
I am now advised that they have not yet been OFFICALLY advised that there is a concert (but we know different!!).
Think I will try to make contact direct with the church!!

Hi Grant That doesn't suprise me - don't forget that tickets for the last concert here were only put on sale approximately four weeks before.
Best Wishes Martin

Hi Grant Many thanks for calling the box office again on this, I know it was my turn and I am sorry to have let you down. I did infact attempt to call on Monday & Tuesday but got an answer machine - and then yesterday but they were closed in the morning !! This week has been very busy workwise and I haven't had many opportunities to keep calling If you can and don't mind, you may have some luck in contacting the church direct. I have made a note in my diary to call the box office next Friday 9th, unless you find out anything from the church in the meantime. Very best regards Mark.

Hi Mark & everyone
As promised, I rang the vicarage a little while ago - vicar is definately a fan and commented on Hayley's recent appearances. I urged him to buy Treasure!!
To business. I gather that it is likely tickets for this concert will go on sale after Easter i.e. late April/early May. I will ring him again mid April.
I'm also advised that this concert is listed on Classic FM's web site - I've just looked and couldn't find it.
Grant
P.S He didn't know about HWI's web site - he does now!!

Thanks for the update Richard. Grant and I will be keenly watching for ticket details immediately after Easter. If anyone else is interested note that tickets once on sale will go very very quickly. It's the early bird that catches the worm! (that's a reference to Hayley at the Alfred Salter school recently ). Martin
