Hi Dazza Hi Colin, I'd recommend them all ... One thing which is an absolute must though if you like Sigur Ros is the DVD 'Heima', it's just stunning. Dazza Thanks for the info. I've tracked down - but not yet bought - the DVD on Amazon and it sounds interesting. Once I've caught up with all of Hayley's imminent releases I'll look into getting some more from them. Kind regards Colin

Hi everyone
While Hayley is undoubtedly my No. 1 female singer, I think my No. 2 would be Heather Nova. She has a clear and crystalline voice as well, though her style is more in the singer-songwriter/soft rock tradition. I would however heartily recommend her Redbird CD to just about any fan of Hayley's - it is more mellow than her rockier early stuff, and has a couple of outstanding tracks in I Miss My Sky and Motherland. Indeed, in the last couple of years she has toured with Fiona Pears on violin and Ian Tilley on piano, names not unfamiliar to most people here!
Kind regards
Colin

Hi everyone I've only just seen this - thanks, Stephany for this link. I'm at one with Grant here, this is absolutely beautiful. BTW - isn't that the top Hayley was wearing at Southampton in December? Kind regards Colin

Hi
Does anyone have this problem when searching the forums -
Enter some text to search (I tried "Hayley's voice") Search on all forums Check the Subject checkbox but uncheck the Message checkbox Select the number of days to search (I used 365) Then do the search
The search doesn't appear to take any notice of the Subject/Message checkboxes (and finds items in the messages for instance even when only the Subject checkbox is checked).
I'm wondering if it's me on my Mac with the Safari browser or if it happens generally?
Thanks
Colin

Hi Stan
Excellent portrait.
I enjoyed looking at your MySpace page as well - I liked the ones of Mairead from Celtic Woman particularly.
Kind regards

Hi Dazza
I like Sigur Ros too. I first heard of them through the Planet Earth trailers when Hippipolla was played. I only have Takk as a CD - do you know or recommend any others?
Kind regards
Colin

Hi everyone
When I first saw this I was concerned like many others here. But ultimately I thought how else can we define our lives but through our actions? So I salute Hayley for feeling the necessity to do this, and I salute her for having the courage of her convictions.
I too will pray for her and her family and wish her a safe return once she has shown her support to the brave troops out there.
Bravo, Hayley!
Kind regards
Colin

Hello Richard Hello everybody! I've always thought that the visual aspects of a live performance are just as important as the sound, and the video of 'Un Giorno Per Noi' proves beyond doubt that Hayley thinks so too. Also, at 21, she's now old enough to increase the passion and drama in her performances, and she did it with great style at the Royal Albert Hall. I'm sure we've witnessed the beginning of the next stage in Hayley's amazing career. Best Wishes, Richard I agree. I think everyone at Buxton last month evidenced the increased passion in Hayley's live performance which seems to have been confirmed by the people who saw her in the Irish concerts. Now thanks to Dave we can all see it in this breathtaking performance from the RAH - in front, it should be mentioned, of many influential movers. I'm happy that I've seen the first five years of Hayley's (international) career; I can't wait to see what the next five years hold. And beyond that... Kind regards Colin

Hello Joe
Your favourites are almost the same as mine - though I like the Gladiator and American Beauty soundtracks as well.
I´ve often wondered if Hayley could as one of her "pushing the envelope" songs perform Hippopolla? It would be a new language for her, but I think all the hairs on the back of my neck would stand up listening to that.
Kind regards
Colin

Hi everyone I´m stuck in the south of Spain at the moment - 26 degrees and blazing sunshine (it´s a hard job but someone´s got to do it ). I´m so pleased to hear that Hayley´s continuing on from her Buxton performance and getting better and better. The photos once again are fantastic - thanks to everyone who´s posted them. Please say the video clips will still be available when I´m back next week. Kind regards Colin

Hi everyone Given that this event has an 007 theme, I wonder if Hayley will sing one of the great Bond theme songs - Nobody Does It Better? It's certainly an apt title for a song for her to sing i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifCheers Colin
