Hello Joe and everybody! I see there are now a few messages from Scandinavia on Hayley's official guestbook, which proves that her appeal has no boundaries. Let's hope these new fans find HWI and join the Forum! i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifOnly 5 days to Hayley's 18th Birthday on 10th April!Cheerio from London, Richard

Today I receaved an email from a friend in New Zealand. They had only showed clips from the show ther. No clips included Hayley with or without Morten Harket.' How sad is that. I would expect New Zealand to be the first country to back her up. Her is the reply from the TV channel: TV New Zealand. -It would have been good, wouldn't it! However the rather annoying problem was we didn't film it, and the cameramen went for stars who were known worldwide so they could sell the footage to other countries as well. Sorry about that. Thanks for your email. Kind regards Christine Gilchrist Communications Executive Viewer Correspondence Public Affairs - What is she talking about The show was sendt in full in Denmark and in Sweden ( I taped it ) showing both of Hayleys songs. The duet with Morten Harket was also the premiere of the official UNICEF song. One of the highlights of the show. There is no way a camera man could leave Hayley out. Even if this channel in New Zealand had bought a resume of the show, they have the chanse to show what segments they want. They apparently thought it was more interesting with Tina Turner...............................................

Hello again Morten, this is unbelievable! Surely Hayley is New Zealand's most internationally famous singing star since Dame Kiri Te Kanawa, and I can't believe the media there would turn their backs like this. I need a tissue as well! Best Wishes from London, Richard

Hello Mortyman,
Do you know how to digitise video yourself? If so, I could ten give you details where you could upload the result and then would tell everyone where they can download the video.
I know the concert is supposed to be broadcast in many European countries, most likely not immediately. I am keeping close tabs on Dutch, German, Belgian and English TV-channels.
Cheers,
Gerrit

As always Andreas over at the German a-ha forum is first with the clips....round of applause for him..... Follow the link to see Morten giving his jacket to Hayley and then the performance of the song...... www.a-ha-forum.de/swf/childrenfirst_player.htmMorten's mic seems to be set at a low volume though. Sounds like he is struggling a bit to get his voice through........................

Hello again Morten! Congratulations and thank you for finding and posting the video clip. Thanks to Andreas as well. I hope Hayley's fans in New Zealand will see the clip. It certainly looks like it was a chilly night, and perhaps Morten Harket found it a bit difficult to sing after being out in the cold. Clearly Hayley didn't have any problem, but she is very experienced at singing in all sorts of different conditions. I hope you will remain active on the Forum, and I know you will help us to spread the word about Hayley! i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifI look forward to reading your future posts. Best Wishes from London, Richard

I've emailed you (and copied to some others) about this (improving the sound balance and also the aspect ratio, possibly) so for the moment, I'll say only that this clip sounds better every time I play it I also love the "leather jacket" clip, Morten is a true gentleman! I thought Morten was good (what a pity about the sound problem - not his fault!), Hayley was very good and I thought the children were excellent... they were STARS !!! i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gif And... the announcer said "welcome back Hayley" so there's another performance of hers for us to eagerly await! Can you tell us what else she sang, Mortyman? Cheers! Dave

No, I don't think it's was the cold i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifMorten has been singing on all 5 continents in all sorts of weather. But I guess everyone has a bad day. However I think it was in large the technical problems that made him sound a bit modest................ Anyone know how long Hayley can hold a note ?? Morten has a record of 21.2 seconds i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gif" Summer Moved On " is the song

That is impressive, I must check some of Hayley's songs sometime (but I don't think she'es ever tried to approach 20 seconds!) I *did* notice their long final note in "Children First" though, and was impressed that both held the note(s) well, for about 11 seconds I think, after taking what must have been a very short breath in the final chorus. Very few pop or rock singers can do that in a live performance, oh no. i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifOh, as we mentioned impressive achievements, it reminds me of my favourite music video ever in history - "Take on Me" by... A-Ha - and I still remember it from when it was originally broadcast here in the UK, all those years ago!

Hi Dave You should see the video for " Hunting High and Low " then. Very impressive too. By the way. If you look at my avatar, it's a clip from a-ha's music video for " Velvet ". The musicvideo was banned on MTV and also here in Norway i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gif The video takes place at a morge and Morten, Mags and Pål plays the singing corps a-ha has come a long way since " Take On Me " Both musically and image vice. Hello again Morten! Thank you for the lovely picture of Hayley with Morten Harket. It shows how natural she always is, and why we all love her for more than just her singing! I'm not so keen on the images from the mortuary though! Best Wishes from London, Richard

oops........................ Well, I guess it had to come......................... A-ha / Morten Harket fans are speculating in if Hayley is in love with Morten............................................... One of the Danish papers wrote that the girl with Morten's leather jacket was his girlfriend. However I don't think the reporter was aware of that it was actually Hayley. However this and the few kisses and hugs in adittion to Morten being a gentleman with his jacked has led to a few fans speculating I sure hope that Hayley has better taste in men, than falling in love with Mr. Harket. Morten has just gotten single. He can sing, he looks like a billion buck's, educated, charming, down to earth........................but he is pushing 46..................................... Hayley should go for me instead.........I'm only 27, but have just as cool name........................and you should hear me sing in the shower i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gif i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gif i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifPictures from Japan 2000 www.a-ha.com
